Fallout 4 is shit. End of discussion.
um no i disagree

ur rong

The vanilla game is a technical mess and the graphics are a strain on the eyes.
> caring this much about graphics

how does it feel to be a casual

I care when the game's terribly unoptimized and should in no way require the specs it's demanding.

Because telling someone to only buy the game right now if they have a squad to roll with and to wait for a price drop otherwise is the definition of shilling.

I personally haven't played it, but from what I understand it suffers from the same issue as Titanfall in that it's very barebones and lacks content.

If 9 mp modes, 3 co-op modes, and a little over a dozen maps is lacking in content.

It is.
Especially when the game from 10 years ago had more and better content. Modes, maps, and co-op in this game are dreadful as well.

lolwut

Battlefront 2 had 18 maps at launch. That's 3 more than the reboot and all of the ones that weren't battlefront one remakes were pretty shit. Battlefront 2 had 7 mp game modes as opposed to the reboots 9. GC was just a dressed up instant action playlist, same with the "campaign".

If we want to start talking effective game modes Battlefront really only had one, conquest. In the reboot you can at least get a match in every game mode. Granted this is at launch though so it's possible that it may be whittled down to 3 as time goes on. However this is still 3x more game modes than battlefront 1 and 2.

I should also add that the first map pack is free and adds another 3 maps to the game so that'll bring it on par with 2 for map count.
Saying lolwut doesn't make you right. This game has no diversity. Say what you want about galactic conquest and campaign, but people loved them, and that's why they are mad its gone. Same with space battles and the clone wars era.
Also like I said, the content that IS in this game isn't even good. Maps are horrible, and its pathetic that they limited 13 maps to only 4 planets; meaning less variety. Ultimately, the design choice was made to create more opportunity for dlc, and that sucks. There is no need to have maps dedicated to the ice caves from hoth, or the droid shit from tatooine. So even if you aren't wrong in saying that the game has enough content (which I definitely don't think it does), the game still is severely lacking in variety. Where is jabba's pallace? Naboo? Tantive IV? Dagobah? Space battles?

Of course saying lolwut doesn't make me right. That's why I supported it with facts.

So 9 different game modes is lacking in variety? This isn't halo 5 where all but two are a variant of slayer. This isn't Battlefront 2 where 3 of the 7 game modes were different versions of CTF.

>no need to have a dedicated map to the ice caves in hoth or the smugglers den
>wants a dedicated map for jabbas apartment and cramped as shit ship IV
uwotm8

The maps you listed also suck ass other than Dagobah.

Dogfight is better than spacebattles. I've had more fun playing that than I ever did playing ship boarding battles.

The 9 game modes dont offer anything exciting or diverse though. Most of them do boil down into tdm (or a slight variant) and the ones that don't (droid run) are just plain garbage.
And your argument that Jabba's palace and Tantive 4 suck is wrong when a) those areas both have much more meaning to the movies than ice caves/smugglers den and b) people loved playing on them. Besides, what I listed were just a few examples. Planets (environments) battlefront 2 has: 18 Planets reboot has: 4

Can you not see how that is a problem? Whether or not you enjoyed those maps is irrelevant, they add more "star wars" to the game, and they add more variety. Game mode number is also irrelevant when they suck and you are still playing in the same spaces.

So let me get this straight. You want maps that take place in "iconic" locations over maps that play well? Well that's just a matter of personal preference then. I kinda prefer my multiplayer maps to lend themselves to a good mp experience instead of a hallway clusterfuck.

Yeah, the lack of variety in locations is a bit disappointing. However the argument here is that the reboot "doesn't have enough content". I've demonstrated that it has about the same amount of content as the previous title. A few less maps, but a few more game modes. After the first DLC (which is free) it'll have more content than its predecessor.

game type break down
Supremacy - tug of war/conquest hybrid that relies on the capture of territories to win

walker assault - both sides simultaneously attack and defend various points throughout the map. Objectives are the main priority however the ability to just straight up outkill your opponent can have a major effect on how this plays out.

Droid Run - moving territories from halo really

Blast - TDM

Dog Fight - TDM in the air with a heavy emphasis on protecting/destroying the enemies vip shuttle when it appears for a big chunk of bonus points

Cargo - CTF

Drop Zone - TDM with some sort of pseudo-territories elements thrown in

Hero Hunt - Basically juggernaut from Halo

Hero Battle - Basically VIP from Halo, but with VIPs that can and want to fight instead of run away and hide in the corner

Battlefront 2 had

Conquest - self explanatory Battlefield clone

Hunt - gimmick mode that nobody played because it was native species that serve as a minor annoyance in 90% of the maps vs actual soldiers

1 flag CTF

2 Flag CTF

Space Assault - A handfull of people get to fly around in ships while everyone else plays corridor shooter 2005

Assault - A fun gimick mode where everyone is one of the stupidly overpowered hero units

Space 1 flag CTF - CTF but in space

Modders have made better animations and character models than Bethesda. A lot of the Fallout 4 animations are ripped straight from Skyrim.

That's not "fine". That's bad and there's nothing wrong with saying something about a game you like is bad.

Also the fact that banned members still have posts here that'll show up if you search their names, from people who've quoted them.

Oh and if the site lets people use a name, then it should be ok, if Nexus didn't want anyone to use "his name" that isn't his on this website, then he should've signed up with it.
Or asked Cheat to reserve it, which I guess is what everyone should do with every username they've ever used even if they don't use it, just in case it causes confusion.

Maybe because you edited it in after I had started typing up my response.

Once again I'm going to point to this.

"This user has been blacklisted from posting on the forums. Until the blacklist is lifted, all posts made by this user have been hidden and require a Sep7agon® SecondClass Premium Membership to view." All of the users actual posts have been replaced with this. Using quotes from other users to justify your position is a bit silly m8.

The explanation to why the response was the way it was was explained earlier. This case was in a bit of a grey area.

Impersonation.

Unlike with someone like say Kinder, Jay, or the b.net mods whom pretty much everyone knows are either banned or not using the site Nexus is really only referred to as Arky by a handful of people. So for those who aren't familiar or friends with him you coming in and claiming you're Arky can actually confuse people into thinking you're him.
That's a fancy way of saying 'double standard'

Uhh no.

Claiming you are someone else while using their alias is impersonation.
Unless they're unpopular.

It's common knowledge that Kinder is permabanned and it's easily verifiable for anyone with a little bit of curiosity.

Now see what you're doing right here is a bit different, you're not going around telling people that you are indeed the same Arky that people made threads about. You aren't claiming to be Nexus while using his old name.
I don't see why being banned or not should matter.

Well first off

http://sep7agon.net/index.php?action=profile;u=7

That's Kinders profile so Digger wouldn't actually be impersonating him even if he weren't perma banned. And second off all of his posts contain "This user has been blacklisted from posting on the forums. Until the blacklist is lifted, all posts made by this user have been hidden and require a Sep7agon® SecondClass Premium Membership to view.".

There's no indication that Solonoid isn't the actual Arky in this situation other than a he-said-she-said. This isn't really a black and white case since it's true that there is no user with the username of Arky currently. However the name Arky on here is known, and usually used to refer to Nexus by people who are friends with him. However it's been demonstrated before on here before that a good chunk of people do not know this so therefore Solonoid coming in and claiming to be Nexus using his old alias is a form of impersonation that can easily trick people. This is why the decision was made to make Solonoid change his name.
It's impersonation regardless of whether the user is banned or not.

Tthe intent of this is to stop impersonation that actually has a chance at fooling people. No one honestly cares about Barack Obama tier alts because no one is stupid enough to fall for one. Or would you like you return to the era where taking the piss out of Kinder is banned even though he can't come back and have his feelings hurt after doxxing 3 people?

I mean if anybody bothered to read the thread they'd see that I said I was the "new" arky.

Later on in the thread after you had been forced to change your name. Action was taken because you were claiming to be Nexus under his old alias.

However, LC's reasoning for that is horribly off, since this
Quote

Still aplies to Bnet mods and banned users, the later especially since they can still be talked about and in that situation, cause confusion.

Nice job ignoring the fact that Solonoid was going around claiming to be Nexus while using his old name. Those users aren't actually members of the site either so there's no one here to be impersonated. If any of the b.net mods were to join up or permabanned users unbanned those who are having fun by pretending to be someone they're not would be told to stop. It's no different than someone making a Barack Obama account and posting like him. It's common knowledge that Barack Obama is not a member of this site and no person of reasonable mind would think otherwise.

The graphics aren't too great and heroes are nigh on impossible to kill, apart from running them over. Shame you can't play as them, though. Bespin Platforms and Cloud City are amazing to play on.

Overall it's an awesome experience and it puts you right into the infantry combat of the Star Wars universe. Plus you get to kill Gungans and that's ALWAYS a plus.
What would you rate it out of 10?

He's being a cheeky cunt and talking about the original.

New Battlefront is fine as long as you take off your nostalgia goggles. However if you don't have a squad to roll with I's suggest waiting for a price drop or something. Walker assault is one of it's big game modes and it can be downright frustrating without a team of people to work with.
Yeah, I remember back in the beta if you were the rebels there was basically no hope for winning, I'm pretty sure I lost every match on the rebels side. So did they add anything to kind of even the odds or it's still the same as the beta?

Y-wings build faster, the AT-ATs now have a weak point on the underside, and the rebels have more anti-vehicle tools in the full release.
Well that's good, what about spawns? I remember I couldn't even spawn because it kept spawning me in the same group of enemies.

Hoth spawns are still pretty shit, but Sullust, Tatooine, and Endor spawns seem to be fine.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender#Etymology_and_terminology
Quote
German sexologist Volkmar Sigusch used the term cissexual (zissexuell in German) in a peer-reviewed publication: in his 1998 essay "The Neosexual Revolution", he cites his two-part 1991 article "Die Transsexuellen und unser nosomorpher Blick" ("Transsexuals and our nosomorphic view") as the origin of the term. He also used the term in the title of a 1995 article, "Transsexueller Wunsch und zissexuelle Abwehr" (or: "Transsexual desire and cissexual defense").

The terms cisgender and cissexual were used in the 2006 article in the Journal of Lesbian Studies and Julia Serano's 2007 book Whipping Girl, after which the term gained some popularity among English-speaking activists and scholars. Jillana Enteen wrote in 2009 that "cissexual" is "meant to show that there are embedded assumptions encoded in expecting this seamless conformity".

I genuinely do not understand why anyone would have a problem with the term "cisgender".

It's not an insult, it doesn't have a bad connotation... it literally just means that you're "normal."

So what.

Probably because it's slung around like an insult by various groups.
