I never said he didn't have the right to do this, but he has a habit of plastering his name over absolutely everything.

Why even buy this when there's porn on the Internet

People don't, which is why Tecmo is resorting to using this whole controversy to push units. This whole thing is a goldmine for Asian and South American businesses that know they can drive traffic to themselves by manufacturing clickbait issues for westerners to latch on to.

Jesus Christ he even named the company after himself.

It's more about the overrepresntation of FE characters when a more unique one could have been chosen. Kamui being included is just driven by an advertising campaign for the new FE that's due out in the west soon. Kamui is basically SSB4's Roy.

What's kind of amusing is that it seems that it's SJW men who are getting offended on the behalf of women for the most part. Women in general don't seem to give a shit about the game.

Most people don't care about games, you expect women to give a shit about an industry that's historically catered to the opposite gender in the most pandering way possible?

If this was the film industry, people would get pisses off. But because it's the game industry, it doesn't matter to most people because "lol video games".

Actually its more like no one cares about fantasy amazonian ninja women with E cup tits that flap around like a spastic child at the slightest breeze. Cause well, it's goofy fantasy and it doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't. The issue lies with media pretending to be something it's not by building itself up as having amazing female leads when in reality they're little more than lip service/pandering that doesn't actually treat its audience with respect or as intelligent adults.

Tecmo looks to be using this ruse to gain publicity and give an excuse for the abysmal sales numbers that have been historically been getting worse with every iteration of the extreme volleyball series.

Seriously though, I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem and even I think that 6 characters is too much. Save Kamui for the next SSB or something. Throw Banjo in there instead. MS was willing to work with Ninty to get him into the game.

3490
UC4 will also only have 8 maps at release.

I'm assuming of this variety. Unless you're seriously asking that we give you the stats regarding the male-female player ratio of every RPG out there.
Yes. Can't do it? Well, I guess we're just going to have to speculate, then.

Or we can look at actual studies that show that in general women tend to play RPGs more then men.

No idea, but you were arguing against the notion that women make up almost half of the gaming population. Not against the ratio of male-female  gamers that like and play Bayonetta.
I'm arguing against the notion that women make up almost half the population of games that actually matter.

Facebook games, smart phone games, and games that don't actually contain any misogynistic content don't matter.
Because it's intuitive that a woman wouldn't play a game that exploits her gender.

So RPGs don't matter?

The scales dip slightly further toward women when it comes to the RPG genre, with 53.6 percent of the market made up of women, while men represent 46.5 percent.

"It is true that 58 percent of mobile gamers in the US are women. But it is also true that just over 50 percent of American PC gamers are women," she wrote. "In fact, women are the largest gaming demographic for PC role-playing games (54 percent) and they represent almost 40 percent of MMO and digital console gamers. So to say that women are just casual gamers is empirically false."
What is the gender demographic for Bayonetta?

Guarantee it's 90% men.

I got the free weekend and played it with some friends. I actually really enjoyed it, so I bought it since it was 66% off. Only $24. My other friend is DLing right now so we can all play together. We chose the Daggerfall pact since it had Bosmer and Redguards in it.

Also looks like those packs are $15 cheaper on the boner. Only with the power of the PS4.

Well, unless those are weirdo foreign dollars or something.
