Generally I save my files to my computer first, then upload them to the cloud and/or delete them off my computer to make space. So a system restore would actually work for me.
So if Eli did that as well then tada his stuff will show up.

Well yeah, but it's from Japan so that's to be expected. Honestly even if it weren't cut from the western release I'd probably only use it a couple of times for giggles. However I hate cutting and changing content in the name of censorship. Release media as it was intended to be released and let the consumer make their own decision on what they do and do not want to partake in.

The fan translation only works on 3DSs that are below the 9.2 firmware update too and I think I updated mine recently.
I guess I could always use completely legal methods to play the Japanese version of the game and apply the fan translation that way.
No dude. The region-unlocking app in HBL works on any firmware. I just went ahead and bought JAP version of Conquest. The neat thing is another app let's you ROM hack at it and translate the text.
I thought the translation wouldn't work on anything above 9.2 because that's the one that disabled the ability to use custom code. Looks like the fan translation isn't completely finished yet though so I hope you can read nip.
