Spoiler

Supposedly it was because he posted this. Lol.

That's clearly a joke...

So Predator can get away with calling gays inherently bad people and banning everyone who calls him out on his bigotry, but Charlemagne can't get away with posting a joke picture.

I wish I still had the pics of that mentor and mod planning to "hijack and shut down" sep7 in their group chat.

Cheat might have those still actually.

wat

I think it was the Aurora Project chat where a mod, mentor, and some other random people were talking about a plan to try and steal the Sep7agon.net domain and shut it down to force all of us back on b.net or whatever. Cheat took some screenshots of the conversation a while back.
I still don't believe that they were serious.

They were doing an awful lot of research into what they could do to take down sep7 for it to be a joke. Including things like when our domain name expired and how much they could purchase it for.

You know, actual rule breaking stuff. I tried to raise the issue with DeeJ privately, but he ignored my attempts to start a conversation and deleted the chat entirely.

Shit, now I wanna see an artsy foreign film about a guy who's trying to survive in a world that wants him dead because that would magically save the planet or something.

Kalied Liner Drei, only that man isn't a man and is instead a magical girl loli.
sheeeiiiiiiiit

I guess I should watch Prisma Ilya one of these days instead of just reading adult doujins.

spoiler filled tl;dr
Miyu is from an alternate universe where the world is in its death throes. The Ainsworth family wants to use Miyu to transform what remains of the human race into something that can survive the coming end of the world and up until Illya, Rin, and Lluvia crossed over Miyuverse Shirou was the only one who opposed them.

When XCOM 2 comes out on the 5th I feel like making a run with Sep7 members as my units. How many of you would want to be included?

If so post ITT with what class you'd prefer to be.

For those of you who are unfamiliar I'll post the classes and what they have.

Spoiler
Ranger: Rifles, shotguns, and swords

Specialist: Rifles and robot drones

Sharpshooter: Sniper rifles and pistols

Grenadier:  Miniguns and grenade launchers

Psy Operative: Rifles and psy amps. (Note if you want this you may not appear until late in the game)

Might stream it too in case any of you want to watch yourself die horribly fight valiantly against the alien oppressors.

It was done so we can screen people before they get in. Basically the only way not to be accepted is if you're an alt of someone who's been permabanned or if you look to be a suspicious account.

Did Hillary really just win on a coin toss?
I think it was an analogy. I think those were just people going, not delegates. I think.

Three recorded instances of a coin toss deciding delegates.

Welcome to Iowa everybody. If Hillary wins it'll be because she won all three of those coin tosses.

The Flood / Re: Don't see this "mod bias"
« on: February 01, 2016, 02:51:39 AM »
Are we talking instances real mod bias? Cause I've seen/heard about some weird theories and other shit out there.

There have been some cases of bias or inconsistency that I've had to clear up or reverse in the past though. It's less of a problem now than it was earlier on in my opinion.

I mean in general, like shady decisions that are clearly more towards certain users, or even overall. Like a mod banning someone for saying something they personally were offended by. Or a mod screwing over another member.

I don't think anyone has been banned over something that a mod has been personally offended by. The first and third have happened though. Kiyo being the example of someone who screwed over another member. The first happening a few times over the course of this websites history, but calling them shady would be outright false.

Ok by personally offended by I mean for something that wasn't against the rules. No Das, you pming people loli porn doesn't count.

I know Kiyo was crazy, and that's the only person in which I understood why everyone lost their shit. But I always see more claims of outright "wrong decisions" made by mods. I'm incredibly non partial to a lot of people on here, especially those I like, and I've found it really hard to really say there has been anything done wrong outside of Kiyo

Well there actually have been a few made by mods in the past. Sometimes threads are locked that shouldn't be, sometimes people are warned that shouldn't be. There's even been an couple instances where someone was banned who shouldn't have been.

Completely removing bias from people is outright impossible, however people don't always intentionally act upon their biases. For example we've had times where mod(s) were inconsistent when it came to locking threads. They may not have been actively searching out threads made by a specific group of users to lock, but they ended up leaving threads open of the same type that were made by other users. This was something that was brought to our attention by a couple members speaking up about it.

unsolicited
I disagree.

And that was the first case of it happening. I didn't see anything in the rules.

Quote
Sexual/Shock/Gore images and videos must remain in Anarchy only.

Das, we've banned people before for this. You aren't the first one and you probably won't be the last either.

Granted we won't know about these unless someone reports them. Which is why I'm saying unsolicited, cause if they were solicited neither side would report it.

The Flood / Re: Don't see this "mod bias"
« on: February 01, 2016, 02:44:30 AM »
I will say as a mod for only like... what, a month now?

That I've seen a lot of reports are people acting like babbies rather than actual offenses. Of course there are real ones worthy of actually taking action with (to which I've messed up once or twice), but yeah.

But would you say you genuinely messed up or that it could have gone both ways (meaning there was logic behind your decision)
As in I'm still learning my way about a few things.

Which is a valid excuse, to a certain extent obviously. And if things were fixed quickly I don't see why it would be made a big deal.

I was actually the one who reversed both instances because I was contacted about them. It certainly helps when the person is polite about the matter too.

What part of "did nothing wrong" don't you understand?

Just because our states are free doesn't mean that the rest of the world, or even the rest of the United States are free.

Sending unsolicited unspoilered porn to people in general via pm is something that's always been ban worthy though.

You will so regret it.

Some of you really need to calm down. It's fine if you think someones opinion is dumb or stupid, but you don't need to go all out with the insults and telling them to kill themselves.

This is a verbal warning for the thread in general.
Don't you have some chinese little girl cartoons to be pleasuring yourself to fucknugget?

Nope, but you can recommend some to me if you want since you seem to be an expert on them.

3208
I am probably going to have to step in there and issue a verbal warning though because there seem to be a couple people who are seriously overreacting to people having different opinions. One of two people being upset does not equate to a flame war when the rest of the people are being fairly civil.

I can happily say I have no idea about what is going on

Some people from another forum made a copypasta bait thread and filled it copypasta responses.

Deci wanted it locked, but racism isn't actually against the rules and bait threads are moved from serious to the flood + possible lock depending on the content.

Trolling and poorly informed opinions abound in the racist black thread.

et cetera et cetera

Guess I should give that thread a read, odd that extreme racism is fine though. Then again I'm assuming it's extreme racism.

It's a copy pasta containing opinions formed from looking at statistics without actually understanding what they mean or the reasoning behind them from what I recall. Kind of like when people looked at the district map for the obama elections and came to the conclusion that Obama cheated because there were more red districts than blue districts.
