Bungie favorites stopped being Bungie favorites after the first couple of months.

After that it turned into random group admins favorite.

There was a bigger rule update before that one and a smaller one after.

While PMs aren't explicitly stated in the rules, the only thing they could possibly fall under is the "etc." of the no sharing personal information. Which is why I want to talk to Psy about it.

I know I'm beating a dead horse with this but.... isn't that what the HQ forum should be for? Where mods should check in at least once a day about issues?

God I really miss RAHQ back on Bungie. Shit is just not the same anymore.

Well, whenever you see Psy next, just bring up about how I used to get the same crap with Chally, and if the PM contents were really worth a blacklist.

HQ is mainly used for drafts, tests, and things that need to be archived for a later purpose. Once in a blue moon there's a big "heads up" notice that gets put in there regarding something on the forum. Skype is used for quick chats to discuss things because its in real time and things flow easier.

So HQ really isn't an HQ. Its just another storage board like Destiny.

Things that need to be archived include stuff like weighing in with your thoughts on the next mod or weighing in with your thoughts on rule overhauls so people can look back and grab these things later when making a final decision or implementation.

Unfortunately being a good guy doesn't make you exempt from the rules.

And the rules have undergone a couple revisions since July iirc.

Regardless I've already said in other channels going to talk with Psy about this the next time we're both free.

He may be operating under a grey area for this and I'd like to get it ironed out because just as Deci has pointed out it's something that's ripe for inconsistency.

It might have something to do with the fact that this isn't the first time he's done this.

Chally has done this many times to me before, and yet its a double standard.

Has he? Also how long ago?

The rules have gone under multiple revisions.

Oh, nobody is overreacting?

She's on some team on twitter.

"It's the end of free speech!"

Or even in this thread:

"What she says is dangerous"

Dangerous to whom? Why?

You should take a look at who you're taking seriously before you take them seriously.

Do outsiders know this? Does she when she quotes them? No one calls the trolls out. In fact, not everyone saying it is a troll. Some believe it and try to get others to agree with them.

The unlikely event of Anita visiting some backwater forum is irrelevant. We're talking about the people you're trying to use here to support your generalization that people are overreacting in order dismiss the legitimate arguments being made as to why someone may not like her.

Most of these people have engaged in on topic civil conversation.

Still, no admission that part of what she says is correct.

Whether or not she's correct is irrelevant. Being correct doesn't absolve you from any of the deplorable things you've done.

My point is validated by your responses. You guys overreact whenever she's brought up. You act like she's the devil incarnate trying to end your lifestyle forever.

Her initial videos were about tropes in gaming. To be frank, she's partly correct. Females in games are trophies. There are only a few exceptions to this. That motivation in games is tired and worn out.

Since then Gamers and the online community have given her all the ammo she needs. Posting like you guys do IS sexist and demeaning. Now she has a crusade and her opposition is demonizing itself.

Try backing off and accepting that maybe she has a point and all of her ammo goes away.

But keep on keeping on. Every post against her proves she has a point

I'm going to assume this is a broad sweeping generalization because no one here that's given a serious response has overreacted yet.

I won't talk about the only thing about her that matters
Good post.

It was in response to Charlie saying that there's no good reason to dislike her. Personally I think stealing other peoples work and calling it your own is plenty enough reason to dislike someone. I also think that scamming people out of their money is another valid reason to dislike someone.

Her arguments however are a matter of opinion and I don't feel like getting into a debate on them.

Charlie I'd say that being a scam artist, purposely misrepresenting things and omitting details in order to support her arguments, and stealing other peoples work while crediting it as her own is reason enough to dislike her.

I won't touch her arguments because that's a can of worms that I don't really feel like getting into.

Probably biting onto your bait here, but whatever.

Alright, not only has this thread gone way off topic but apparently some of you don't know how to talk to people who have different opinions without berating them right now.

Thread locked and warning issued.

Deci if you want to remake the thread and try to restart the conversation go ahead.

It's a scare tactic to disenfranchise young voters. This looks worse than it actually is. In reality super delegates don't matter that much as they only make up about 10% of the total and even then these are pledged super delegates, not committed super delegates. If Sanders won the popular vote they wouldn't go against that and give it to Hillary as that would be political suicide for the Democrats.

To answer your question though Ele

なんだよ

Is basically an emphasized way of saying "what?". I wouldn't run around screaming it though because it can also be considered to be a rude way to say it as it's supposed to be used informally or in casual settings.

Also enough with the Arabic spamming.

I actually did this a couple days ago so I don't remember much about what happened. This is my best attempt to reconstruct what transpired.

Mission 13: Trouble in Mexico

Shortly after setting up shop in New Brazil a distress call came from Mexico. Not wanting to abandon our south of the border allies we flew back up to rescue them from certain destruction.

The leader of this rescue team was headed by Das. Eager to test out the new mag cannons, he brought Big Boss along with him. Azure, Ender, Ushan, and a random recruit padded out the rest of the squad.

The team was dropped off on to of a plateau and quickly set up to survey the village below. Sensing a trap Das sent the rookie down to spring it. As soon as their boots hit the dirt below multiple advent sprung from the buildings to gun him down. The rookie quickly dove into cover as the squad below opened fire. After the third one fell do their gunfire the ground below them shook as a berserker ran out from the dark intending to turn the rookie into a bloody paste tanking every bullet that hit its body. Right as the creature raised its massive fist to crush the rookie the familiar sound of Azure's mag pistol rang out and the body of the beast flung itself over the building.

[The science team will be looking into what exactly caused her mag pistol project enough force to do this, hopefully it's something that can be replicated in the future and mass produced so as to become a standard issue weapon for every xcom agent]

The rest of the battle continued with the rookie drawing out enemy squads and the rest of the team shooting them as they moved in to engage. After a long battle the team emerged victorious at the cost of the rookies life and everyone but Azure being heavily wounded.

Mission Results
All enemies KIA
Eight civilians rescued
One friendly KIA
Four friendlies wounded

Mission Success
