Real talk tho: There's nothing wrong with having a waifu as long as it's not delusional to the point where you're buying waifu pillows and thinking she's real. The reason fiction works is because at some level we recognize these characters to be real. If we didn't fiction wouldn't be a thing.

You know damn well you'll watch the first two movies LC. Like me, any Fate media is something you'll eat up.

Anyway, I'm glad it's 3 movies instead of 1. I was afraid it'd be like the UBW movie where EVERYTHING was freaking rushed, and if you're following up on everything Zero built up with Sakura, that'd be bad. Still, looking forward to seeing waifu Rider for more than 5 seconds, and Alter in all their glory.
I didn't care about Labyrinth and Apocrypha and I don't care about Extella. Strange Fake has a dead apostle as a master and seems to take place in the "main" timeline since there are direct references to what happened in Zero and SN. Kalied Liner has the closest thing to a post-SN Shirou we'll likely ever get.

The first two movies will be meh.
The third will be the only one worth watching if you've already read the VN. I'm probably going to watch all of them anyway though.
The Extra anime will be more interesting, Fake Strange is already more interesting, and the Kalied Liner Drei (manga) is already more interesting. Fate as a whole though is the most overdone and least interesting part of the Nasuverse. If they're going to make more of anything it should be Mahoyo, other than that they need to branch out into other stuff and progress the worlds narrative instead of doing endless self contained timelines spinoffs of Fate because that moves the universe nowhere.

Just a reminder that pretty much all games for the system will have to pass a technical requirements checklist, which requires being able to run on the weakest form of the hardware.
^ PC games were being hamstrung for the longest time because of the last generation of consoles running on 32 bit architecture. Outside of a few high profile first party titles I don't see anyone wanting to divert the resources into making their games run 4k, especially when the average household tv and computer monitor is still supports 1080p at max. I mean it's great for those people who might be wanting to watch movies in 4k and have a screen that supports that output, but the vast majority of people aren't going to get any practical use out of this. Heard MS was looking to do the same thing though, but I believe it was rumors of something more modular. Probably going to be an external GPU or something if the the rumor proves to be true. Still kind of dumb though until the average household is sporting a screen capable of 4k.

Hopefully the game will be able to find life on the Xbox. Shame it had to die the way it did on the PC.
Believe it or not, the population was actually pretty stable for years after lattice. The game has changed quite a bit since then, both for better and worse. IMHO, what finally started to kill the game was the Victory Point update a few months ago. It was supposed to overhaul the continent locking system to give territory more value, but it was so terribly implemented that it only encouraged ghostcapping empty continents and zerging down a lane with 96+ and 70% overpop. It also had the unintended side effect of bringing back Indarside. Even fights are very hard to come by these days, and when they do they die out fast. The mid sized outfits that kept the game alive for years are dropping like flies, veteran players are burning out fast, and zergfits reign supreme. Game is shit now.
There was a massive player drop after the lattice hit and the pop never recovered. The population started a slow downward trend afterwards. All of this could have been avoided if the lattice update was never implemented though since people wouldn't be forced to go down certain lanes.
