The Flood / What is this I don't even

So during my daily beat down on spambots I came across this.

Just what is this?

Finally

Tru watched and enjoyed it.

It's already over too so you won't have to wait for a new episode every week.

2734
How about you don't derail the thread and take that stuff to your titanfall shilling thread.

"Let's see how much more shit we can throw onto this retarded word salad of a fucking title."

It's a Japanese fighting game.

It comes with the territory.

Is finally coming out in the west in two weeks on Steam. Hopefully it does well so Type-Moon will release more titles outside of Japan.

I would keep watching the subbed series but....

WHY THE FUCK IS GOKU SO HIGH PITCHED? The English voice actor sounds so much better to me.

Are you new to the series? She's voiced Goku/Gohan/Goten since the first episode of Dragon Ball back in the 80s.  I hated it at first but it doesn't bother me at all anymore.
I watched dub from beginning to end.

I did too. After a while of watching the subs it kind of grows on you.

Fuck that.

Put up or shut up. Have fun waiting for them to finish dubbing Kai then starting Super.

Super and the Buu saga of Kai were running at the same time in Japan when it launched. There's nothing saying they have to finish the Buu saga of Kai before Super can be done.

Here's an idea: Give this thread title updates and bump I when a new episode comes out instead of making new threads every week.

But he hasn't been.
I'm not having another semantical argument with you.

You're literally just Achronos 2.0

It's not even semantics. The last DBS thread he made was almost a month ago.

Once or twice a month is not frequent enough for you to claim he's making one every week, not even by hyperbole.

I forgot how bad the animation was.

I stopped caring about that a while ago and just started enjoying the ride. It has its bad moments but it's definetely improved since the earlier episodes. I guess they save their budgets for the epic shit.

They must not have a whole lot of budget then cause it still kinda looks like ass. Which is a shame because the two recent movies they did were the best dragonball has ever looked.

Great moogly booglies I for some reason seem to have combined the posts you and Irish made when reading this thread.

Disregard me.

In regards to Hiadt though the big one was by the president of the international association of political psychologists. Hiadt apparently as a history of trying to "tear down and ridicule liberals" with his research. The only reason I know this is because I've seen what you've linked before in other discussions where people tried to claim some sort of air of superiority over liberals due to his research.

Nice confirmation bias.
Gee, LC, it's almost like you don't know me at all.

It's not like I haven't already thought of this, and still think its a tendency liberals/progressives display to a greater degree. As I said in the OP, my evidence is anecdotal--I could be entirely wrong. But in my experience conservatives don't really consider liberals as quite literally on a lower level than themselves, whereas this--and incredulity that others could think in such a manner--seems true when flipped around.

Maybe it's because my experience of other conservatives is limited mainly to British conservatives, but then I don't see why British conservatives should be exempt from this. And, if anything, vitriol towards conservatives is even greater here. Fuck, there's even a name for it: it's called the Shy Tory Factor.

You already thinking of confirmation bias doesn't mean that it isn't in play. You're only noticing it more because you're on the receiving end of it, just as many liberals will cry the same about conservatives dismissing their views under the pretense of "if you only knew better you'd think like me".

In case you aren't aware the same is true in the UK for the opposite side of the spectrum and it's called the Shy Labour Factor. It seems that lying about who you're going to vote for might not be exclusive to either conservatives or liberals where you live.

I'd also be a bit wary with Haidt, he's been criticized for creating agenda driven studies in the past. If we're going to start doing studies I'd like to see multiple studies from sources who aren't agenda driven before we come to any conclusions.

If you take a look at your posts here though you're engaging in the exact same behavior you're deriding liberals for.

"Oh the ideology of liberals is easy to follow and requires so little thought"

"Oh conservatives are so much know so much more than those liberals because they have the minority opinion"

"Oh all you need to become a liberal is to bitch about something and have no thoughts or ideas on how to implement them"

The fact that Trump seems to be pretty popular among a certain segment of American conservatives should show you that at least in the US that the above accusations you're making of liberals hold true for conservatives as well.

Then again these are your 4 am thoughts and you're mostly familiar with the political climate in the UK which may or may not be different than what exists in the US.

Valkyria has some late game balancing issues Psy, scouts become super OP. Especially when you give them the DLC rifle.

Nice confirmation bias. You get the same shit from conservatives, libertarians, and just about every ideology out there be it political, religious, or otherwise all the time as well. People being condescending wankers isn't exclusive or even a "trend" to anything.

Nasu is a huge Saberfag and you get the true F/SN ending after completing all three routes which is the true ending to (you guessed it) Fate.

Fate Saber is the true canon route.

Fate route Saber is just as "canon" as Unlimited Blade Works Saber. All 3 routes are canon, but with that logic, you could argue Heavens Feel is the canon route since Zero focuses heavily on Sakura and Zouken.

Ian stop, all routes are canon because the Nasuverse is a multiverse. Even the bad ends are canon. Takeuchi is the saberfag, not Nasu.
For the record, I think the whole "they're all canon" is lazy writing in any form of media.

It doesn't change anything about the writing if it's all canon.
Yeah I know, but I always thought it was such an easy cop out. Like in the new Mass Effect, I'd like to think the canon ending is destroy for a ton of reasons I won't list, but odds are in the sequel they won't mention it at all.

Same with Morrowind where there are so many branches, they're "all" canon, even though the universe in which our Elder Scrolls follows, there is only one canon, but they never specify which it is.

The won't mention it in Andromeda because the people who went to Andromeda left the Milky Way before the ending of ME3.

The reason for the "it's all canon" approach is that they want to focus on creating an interesting/entertaining experience first and a consistent universe wide narrative second. As long as the underlying mechanics and lore stay the same I don't have a problem with it. Unfortunately this approach also allows for endless spinoffs if a particular part of the universe becomes too popular which has lead to the stagnation of the "main" universe for type-moon. To Narita's credit though he seems to be trying to move things forward within the confines of this endless spinoff shit with Strange Fake.

Even the bad ends are canon.

It's true.

But just because an ending is canon doesn't mean it'll ever be expanded upon. So I guess you can consider it "non-canon" if you want.

Yeah don't go giving me that gibberish I don't habitually watch anime.
Neither do we

Pretty much this. You're find that most of the "weebs" here maybe watch one or two things a season.
Certainly more modest than a friend of mine. Crazy bastard has seen everything.

I have no idea how people can do that. Most of the stuff that comes out isn't even worth watching.
