yeah im open to it, this current round saw a bunch of people knocked out before they really had the chance to do anything so if you (or anyone else) wants to be part of it just say so and i'll throw you in for the next one

Reminder that delays =/= a better game.
I'd say it leads to a more polished game though. Better for that than pointless glitches and issues.
not really, there are a lot of delayed games that were still shit DNF being a high profile one Hardline was also delayed, didn't stop the balance from being terrible and the gameplay modes from being poorly thought out.

No, you actually got broken into 3 different empires after losing a war to byrne. One of which ended up joining his empire, another joined up with ender, and your main one stayed independent until byrne decided he wanted everything he didn't take from you.

I think it was mainly due to bad positioning at the start. You were boxed in and couldn't really expand anywhere which let Byrne run over you because he was able to expand down his spiral arm for a bit until he hit me and tru.
Also he had more habitual planets in his territory than you.

Luck of the draw, but there might be a mod out there that changes that. By default the galaxy is randomly generated.

Ended the test after I saw Tru aiding a fallen empire in killing the unbidden.
That happened? In all my playthroughs the AI have been really passive towards the crises.
I'm using the beta patch for 1.1. It makes it so AI no longer play catfish when one of the crisis empires starts attacking them. In this case Tru and a fallen empire were in the unbiddens territory going around and destroying their stations and fleets.

I won in conquest in my play through 
in the test run you naru and pip made an alliance against Azures federation of damn near everyone else. Ender and Bacon were fighting a war on two fronts since Azure directed her federation to get revenge on Ender for the cheap shot she did earlier and the three of you decided you really wanted Bacons territory.
