peoples political beliefs on here have been fairly consistent since the start
conservative views rhymes with kill the jews

isn't it weird that you never really get tired of hearing your own national anthem

even if you're not traditionally patriotic
Speak for yourself

Gaming / Re: 4K gaming. Does anyone care?
« on: September 13, 2016, 10:15:09 AM »
not really

at the moment 4k is just a buzzword to move units as most people don't have tvs and monitors capable of supporting 4k resolutions and they won't until they come down in price

i doubt that many of the games coming out will actually support 4k as well because of this

my feeling that is that it's going to be a fairly mediocre game that gets a lot of sales (like NMS) due to the hype surrounding it

Been rewatching FMA:B, I probably enjoy it more now than I did during my first run through it.
Your avatar reminds me that I have to rewatch Cowboy Bebop at some point. On my first watch through I only started to really get into it at the end. When I rewatched Mushishi at the beginning of the summer I enjoyed it more than I did watching it around the first time, especially the middle of the show when it was focusing on Ginko as a character and what it meant to be a Mushishi.

What stands out now that didn't before?

i'm probably enjoying it more because i already know how the story pans out which lets the stuff going on sink in more and allows me to notice details about things i didn't before

also i'm seeing areas where the story could be improved

We've got a memefestation going on, and while it's pretty great, it quickly kills the idea of having straight-faced discussions.

BAN MEMES FROM SERIOUS
MAKE SERIOUS GREAT AGAIN
BUILD A WALL AROUND SERIOUS

Psy said something about redoing the serious rules a couple days ago, i believe that's why they were taken down.

The DPRK resembles a Stalinist state more than it does a communist one.
just like America isn't really capitalist becauss it has trade regulations and taxes amirite

take your memes back to /pol/ please

it's hard to be communist when you've got a class of elites headed by what is essentially a monarchy funneling wealth and resources away from the poor and working class people and into their own pockets

not to mention the fact that private enterprise is a thing there as well
It's almost like communism doesn't really work then, huh?

i never said that it does

>nude mods weren't allowed

Who the fuck cares?
Bethesda doesn't want to put any effort into reviewing the mods, so they won't make a move until sony caves.

nude mods aren't allowed period on beth.net

it has nothing to do with nude mods, it has everything to do with the draconian restrictions Sony wants to place on them that'll make them basically useless to even implement

Both had a pretty meh start.
PS4 didn't have a meh start at all.

neither console got any good games for like the first 2 years they were out

/r/PS4 initially blames Bethesda and wonders why they didn't accept some restrictive terms to allow mods, until some smart folk pointed out mods would have been useless if they were (rumours of a 900MB limit compared to XB1's 2GB,soon to be increased).

iirc you also couldn't add new sounds or textures via modding too
