Titanfall 1 was generally praised for its gameplay but had no singleplayer and very little longevity in the multiplayer. As such,it gained a small but very hardcore following who consistently play(ed) it two years after release.
Titanfall 2 was announced and interest was surged, but the interest died when the beta dropped and they made some very significant changes to the formula. However, Respawn have been very clear on listening to community feedback and a fuck ton of footage (including a singleplayer campaign) has revived a lot of interest that was killed in the beta. Unfortunately, I fear the damage has been done by clickbait articles with titles like DAE TITANFALL 2 IS GARBAGE? !!!?!?! that once again, it will be a niche game that retains a hardcore following but no widespread appeal.
Especially with the likes of the Battlefield hype train and the Modern Warfare Remastered hype train to compete with.
i have a feeling that the beta killed the game before launch, people like me who aren't actively following the games development are the majority and will not know about the changes made since the beta

Eh, it's not surprising. Our congressmen want to have their cake and eat it too. They'll vote for the bill so they don't have a "voted against 9/11 families" soundbite to be used against them, override the veto so they can posture themselves as having a backbone and standing up to Obama, and then go back in and amend the bill until it's completely worthless when they won't have any press coverage of it.

Really? Why? If you look at all the cell phones in the front of the crowd there are big things missing from the screens like the American flag and Hillary. Some screens show different rooms entirely.
so you are talking about the same thing i am it has to do with the lens used on both the camera and the cellphones the camera is using a telephoto lens which focuses on a very narrow area and compresses the foreground into the background the cellphones however are using a wide angle lens so the foreground and background are not being compressed into eachother this creates the illusion that the two cameras are viewing different rooms entirely

A black soldier would actually be appropriate if there were maps set in German East Africa or something.
i don't see why that matters in a multiplayer environment that doesn't aim to give you an authentic simulation of what it was like to be in ww1, the fact that they existed should be enough to give players the option of being them
