I know, >AngryJoe, but he actually loved this game, and it looks like he's having a blast in his streams.

Sterling also really liked it which is strange because he normally doesn't enjoy battlefield games.

I refuse to call an AT-AT a mecha.

That doesn't mean it's not a mecha.

The broader the term, the less specific it is. Mecha generally refers to Japanese designs, though the word encompasses any machine. I wouldn't call an AT-AT a mecha just like I wouldn't call it an automobile. Might as well just call it what its source material calls it: a walker.

Mecha are just vehicles that take on biological forms or aspects.

People got angry over that?

Oh Christ, it's the metal gear spoiler autism all over again

I posted a nondescript opinion of an event that had been talked about a lot in the pre release coverage and people sperged out.

Goots thought they were dumb and decided to give them something real to sperg about so he posted an actual spoiler in picture form in the thread.

Spoiler
My nondescript opinion was "i think [x event] is dumb"

super saiyan 4 is one of the stupidest designs to come out of dragon ball

Still better than 3 though.

nah bruh

i'd take 3 over 4 any day

Monkey chest > banana hair.

3 looks like a natural evolution of super saiyan

4 looks like something from coldsteels deviant art page

4 looks unique

and had more thought put into it than "let's just make the hair longer and spikier"

being unique doesn't mean something is good

it does in this case though

if you think mullets, skinny jeans, and  monkey chest hair are good you probably have shit taste

I'm gonna watch GT again
don't get THAT desperate for dragonball yo

watch one of the movies

Tbh I don't hate GT as much as other people do. I'm going back into it already knowing what it's like so it's more chill.

doesn't make it any less dumb

It's dumb but the design has really grown on me. It's still my least favorite but I like it now more than I used to.

I don't think I'll ever like Vegeta with a mullet and wearing skinny jeans.

God damn it Tru, that mark on your avatar's mouth kept looking like a spec on my monitor and I spent the better part of two minutes scratching at it until I realized that.

demote LC

same, but without the scratching part

Banter is allowed, but what do I know? I'm no longer a mod.

it was a 2 page off topic spergout in serious

Oh yeah that's against the rules in serious especially if they go way off topic and start shit-flinging, but I see none of this, so it must have been a while ago?

i split it off and sent it to the dumpster so the thread could resume normal discussion

Scores are looking good, looking forward to it on Friday (or whenever I get around to playing it because I have to install it and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and I'm gonna play Xenoverse first)

double xp from pqs right now it looks like on xenoverse so you should be able to beat it fairly quickly

made a new character and got to level 80 + beat the story again in a couple of days

Pro tip I learned. Taking the bayonet off of your gun decreases the recoil when you rapid fire, and makes you ADS quicker. So if you're playing assault, I'd suggest taking it off for that accuracy.
I thought this was pretty common knowledge
Oh shut up, idiot.
The tip is among other tips in game, during loading iirc, saw it once before.

I think it also says so when you equip it to your gun. Not that having a bayonet on there matters though since the accuracy penalty is so small that it wouldn't actually impact the performance of someone who is half way decent at the game.
With submachine guns if you're shooting from a bit aways, it easily stabilizes it more. Ain't no aim assist on PC, so it helps keep it steady and make sure all your bullets connect.

Not enough to make a difference.

You should generally wait for all the expansions to be out before you buy a Civ game
60 smackers for a downgrade
Not really. The launch of this game is better than Civ V's. Comparing the base game of a new one to all the expansions of an old one is silly.

Your next game should ship with the best features of your previous games expansions instead of stripping them out to sell again as DLC.

Being a slightly less smelly pile of shit doesn't mean you're not a pile of shit.
I'd say it did since it has religion in it and it's pretty good, along with cities not just being huge things on one tile. Combat is also improved (though civ 5's was good). My only real issue aside from the bugs, and vagueness of a few things, is how the leaders aren't in their setting anymore.

See what I mean? They're still lively, but it just isn't as fun.

nobody cared about religion

it was a simple mechanic that quickly became irrelevant

But verb
We got HoI IV this year

Also Stellaris and Owlboy.

2016 has been a good year for PC.

Also the only game I'd say is universally praised on your 2013 list is Metro Verb.

If Jews are in control why are there no Hollywood movies about the Six-Day-War and Yom Kippur War?
Americans won't watch a war movie if it's not about Americans fighting.

War Horse was about Bongs and Krauts.
