Large size is pretty helpful for an economy though. We're around the size of Hawaii, if I remember correctly.

Evangelion is probably the most memorable one I've ever seen. Here's some other nice stuff though Kara no Kyoukai: Overlooking View Eureka 7 Not an opening, but the entirety of FLCLs sound track is great. That and it doesn't actually have any sort of opening theme. Now I normally take a big smelly dump all over Naruto, but occasionally the anime is able to produce some good openings.
