Where is the Charlie is a fgt option?

I'd vote for that...

You know what sucks for you? The single mom that I'm inviting over later has hot daughters too young for me. I guess I'll introduce them to Yutaka.
Threesome, here I come.

Pun intended.

This should explain it.

However most people who claim to have waifus are either joking or are just pretty much saying "I really like this character".

He's infinitely more interesting than.... whatever we are as the player.
A Guardian™. Don't question it. It's trademarked.

No fuck you.

What the fuck did we even guard against? We were running around attacking random places that had almost no connection to each other and went go on a scavenger hunt to kill a floating pulsating piece of shit. It's not like we even secured any of the territory we pushed "the darkness" out of anyway. How the fuck is humanity supposed to reclaim its solar system (much less its home world) if it refuses to even step outside the walls of the city that apparently don't even need to be defended from anything since the only time you'll ever visit the wall is if you're playing a crucible match on a certain section of it.

This is.. really sad.

I actually would watch a TV series or movie about that dude who got transported the Destiny universe from winning a taco bell contest and his journey to become humanities savior.

He's infinitely more interesting than.... whatever we are as the player.

I'm confused. NeoGAF uses Adsense and that site has plenty of profanity and nsfw threads.
Think for a second. What's the difference between NeoGAF and us?

The size. NeoGAF brings in more money so Google will be more lenient and shit towards them

NeoGAF also sucks SJW wieners and is in bed with various gaming devs and journalists so Google can't do anything to them without raising a big stink.

Meh, I'm around level 25 and I've enjoyed it so far. However I also treat it like its a single player game for the most part and pretend it's non canon.

Thought about maybe making a sep7 guild just to get a Guild base and capital ship for people that just want to hang around and play with other people from this place.
ToR isn't canon, did you SEE how badly they butcher Revan's character in the next expansion?

Nope, I've heard it's some guy pretending to be Revan but I don't know how true it is. That and since KOTOR is no longer canon I don't really give a shit about what happens in TOR. It's all just a giant what if story now and I'm fine with that. Means they can do more shit too since they're no longer constrained by canon.

To be fair, KOTOR isn't canon either. None of it matters, but I would say the LucasArts team considers TOR the continuation of Revan's story, no matter how unhappy most of the fanbase is with his treatment.

Like I said though, since none if it is canon (not that i was treating TOR as canon anyway) I don't really care. I just play the game and have fun with it. Shit's more fun when you don't care about how nonsensicle the story would be if it were actually canon. It pretty much exists in its own little pocket dimension in my mind.

I thought we weren't allowed to do this because of AdSense...

Adsense kicked us out cause of "invalid clicks". Which apparently is a bunch of bullshit.
We're using adversal and Ebay ad-whatever now.

Gaming / Re: I thought of a legit way Valve could let us re-sell a game
« on: October 20, 2014, 12:25:52 AM »
Considering most people only play single player games for about a month before rarely touching them again yes people will be just paying $30 for their $60 games.

I know I'd abuse the frack out of a system like that and I'd rather keep the deep discount sale system we currently have. At least that way devs get all the money for their games and Valve doesn't have an incentive to bully devs any more than they already do.
Skyrim is single-player and people are still playing the crap out of it. If the Developers don't want to lose out. Either make a great single-player or make the game cheaper and then that option would not be offered to the customer. I meant to say that the offer would only be for $50-$60 games.

So a small subset of games may continue to florish? Not every single player game is an open world rpg. Shit like Dark Souls, MGS Revngence, Final Fantasy, et cetera would essentially have a permanent 50% off sticker on them from release and we'd lost our steam sales in order to get this.

The reason Steam works in its current fashion is do**because of your inability to resell your games. If you want a grace period you could do something like Orings "Great Game Guarantee" which allows you to get a full refund on a game within the first week of its purchase if you pre-ordered it and don't like it and 24 hours if you didn't pre-order. A month is way to much time and allows for people to simply buy, play, beat, and return. Origin also doesn't have nearly as many sales as steam though because of this policy.

It's a balancing act and what you'd get out of something like this isn't worth the loss of our frequent deep discount steam sales. That and a return policy where valve essentially gets to double dip is fucking stupid. They'll bully devs even more than they already do and stab them in the back gamestop style.

Maybe you should do more research before buying a game if you're running into these kinds of problems.

Oh hey look, now all those single player games are essentially only $30 and only 20 of which will actually go to the developer.

This is super easy to abuse and will only end up hurting devs.
That's why I said this option is up to developers who charge $40 or less for their game.

Still super easy to abuse as every game that does it is pretty much 50% off all the time and it still does nothing but hurt devs.
What if the re-sell doesn't apply for discounted version of the game?

I'm saying that any game that chooses to partake in this has basically just slapped a permanent 50% off sign on their game.

The whole no used games/no resells is kind of why we have these giant 75-90% off sales every weekend and even bigger ones during various times of the year.

I'd rather have frequent deep discount sales than used games.
