spend 4 grand on a car you have to repair once every couple of months, and spend the rest on whatever you want to make your life more enjoyable
and youre lying to yourself if you think resale value is gunna account for the work you put into it. you dont put thousands of dollars into a car if youre trying to sell it.
if you wanna spend your extra money on cars because you enjoy it by all means but dont pretend its any different from blowing it on literally any other leisure. i have a few too many cars in my lot that at the end of the day only see fit to take an extra hundred bucks out of my account every month for insurance.

For real though. Nothing gonna happen to that guy. They're not gonna go out of their way to look for him and your own account of the incident isn't enough. Should've invested in the dash cam my dude. Let this be a lesson to you all.
the camera wouldnt really do anything to help unless it was about the details of the situation its either they find the vehicle, or they don't sure the footage would have been nice to show "look this is what happened" but the problem isn't witnesses here, its the fact there was no individual to ID from the situation so they're never really gonna be able to prove who was in the vehicle at the time dash cams are for resolving details about a crime, not catching people now, if I had a helicopter to chase the guy, then yeah, that would have been the real fool proof way to get him

didnt even get out of the car, he just bolted away

it was the lesser of the two cars i own so i’m not that mad; car handles the same it just needs front fender, headlight, bumper, and some other stuff probably...
