Been trying to get back into lifting for a while now. Don’t know why my motivation for the gym fluctuates so rapidly. I can go five days one week and then not at all the next.

I think the crux of the issue is that Americans seem to have little respect for the industry in general. There’s a lot you could criticize, say, CNN for, but I can’t help but think most people call it fake news more so because they dislike what’s being reported. I can think of a dozen shows on major networks that basically have all the flaws you listed, which likely reach a wider audience than the “MSM”.

I feel like this is the key everyone misses. Barring my ex, I have never really been called racist or sexist in real life. Unless Joe tryna start some shit.
I think the “it could happen to me” thought is usually the overriding factor. White people will see rampant SJWs on social media and think they’re next whereas minorities will read news stories about bigotry and naturally have a stronger reaction.

Really just a good example of why not to get involved in the television/film industry.
Sucks that all those people lost their jobs over something they have zero control over, but I doubt the show works without Roseanne, and what she did definitely warrants termination.
I don't think this can really be seen as our corporate overlords thought-policing us and more of our corporate overlords just virtue signalling. If there wasn't any public outrage and the show was profitable, I doubt there would have been any consequences.
