Okay? I'm not taking about Jones anymore.
I'm talking about alternative platforms becoming viable for large creators. Until your average person starts using them, most creators will continue to use mainstream sites like YouTube. I wouldn't expect people to uproot their followers by moving to another platform and risk losing a huge number of them for the sake of using a more free and open platform.
These websites aren’t as untocheable as you guys are making them out to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if the large majority of content creators aren’t at least very irritated with YT these days.

YouTube (And all other big tech sites for that matter) should be regulated as utilities and thus beholden to the US Constitution because Google is a US based firm and is currently the main platform for people to air their political grievances. Nobody should be kicked off unless they are doing something explicitly illegal.

Can’t remember if there had already been a thread about this but about a week ago, someone dug up a bunch of lewd tweets from GotG director James Gunn, including many jokes about pedophilia. This prompted Gunn to go on a spree and delete around 1,000 of his tweets. Shortly after, Disney announced that they were severing ties with him.  The cast of GotG we’re pretty vocal about their disagreement in this decision and just recently released this:  What do you guys think about this, and do you think they’ll be able to get him back? IQ actually drops with age though past 25 unless you remain active and eat alkiline forming foods

I'm not going to doubt that intelligence agency's claim of manipulation in the election. But I really wish they did go into detail about how exactly they did "hack" it. Like, did they actually tap into the electronic ballets of states and manipulate the electronic votes? Or did they just post dank memes on Facebook?

If you were ever planning to move out within the near future, then this is a good move imo.
I struggled a lot with homesickness and getting out of my parents house, that it actually took me two tries to get over it. I moved to a place about a year ago that’s significantly worse in almost every way to my parents house and I’m still glad I came here so that I was able to get over that feeling of homesickness and not wanting to leave before I was in my mid twenties.
