If he runs as an independent, I definitely think I'll vote for him. Doesn't seem like anyone else I like is going to make it anyway.

Yeah when you're an inexperienced actor dropped into the lead role of a sci fi film with a horrible script and no direction, you're probably not going to have the best performance. Even with that considered, he did a passable job. It's easy for viewers to see the glaring problems with Anakin's character and just blame Christensen. Natalie Portman went on to win an oscar and her performance was just as bad.
I also don't understand the overwhelming hate for the "I don't like sand" line. It wasn't exactly compelling dialogue but I don't see why it's always singled out above any of the lines between Anakin and Padme that were much worse.

The Jedi have only been gone from the galaxy for about 40 years at this point. There would be a wealth of evidence supporting their existence on the holonet due to them protecting and serving the republic for thousands of years and being involved in multiple galaxy spanning wars. Especially in the clone wars where you had thousands of them running around waving their jedi dicks in the air like they just don't care.
My assumption is that they want to play off of the OT where the history of the Jedi and Sith wasn't really gone into and thus allowed them to remain a somewhat mysterious entity, but the existence of the prequel trilogy ends up causing some major inconsistencies.
You're bringing up inconsistencies that already existed before this i.e. Han Solo saying he doesn't believe in the force and Luke having no idea what it even was in the original film.
I never said it didn't affect the OT as well. The prequels caused a lot of consistency problems for them as well.
Yeah. I assumed they're going to try to be more true to the OT wherever possible and based on these trailers, that seems to be the case.

I hate these. All the candidates I like have lower percentages because there's so many questions they couldn't determine their stances on, which just counts as a disagree....

Also I have a question.
How the fuck do people forget that the Jedi and Sith are real in starwars? They've kind of been responsible for a lot of war, death, and suffering in the galaxy. They even played a significant part in the GCW with Vader being a very visible enforcer of the Empire and Luke being a prominent figure in the rebellion.
It's not like they really flaunted their powers for the entire world to see. It's possible the majority of the rebellion wasn't even aware of Luke being a jedi.

Spoiler Ask one what the other would say, then take the opposite road.
I feel like you're not one to be wrong about this but I don't understand how that makes sense.

The country of Ost is inhabited only by people who either always tell the truth or always tell lies and who will respond to questions only with a "yes" or a "no." A tourist comes to a fork in the road, where one branch leads to the capital and the other does not. There is no sign indicating which fork to take, but Mr. Zed, who is a resident of Ost, comes along. What single question should the tourist ask Mr. Zed to determine which fork in the road to take?

I had a fever dream that involved a group of people that were killing all the humans on the planet. It was pretty vivid.
Other than that it's been a pretty boring week.

This article sums up pretty well the media's reaction to the debate, and the perceived bias towards Hillary's debate performance that came with it.
mainstream media is conservative biased

I got a very negative opinion on parties by the time I could vote back in 2012. Nothing but people choosing their party instead of looking at their policies and actions. They treat it like football teams and it makes me sick.
This was my exact mentality when I registered back then and I went independent as well. Spoiler I think I still voted for all democrats back in 2012 but I can't quite remember.
