where new ideas and changes to the world around them make them feel afraid, make them feel frustrated when they're told their preconceived notions are wrong.
Never met a liberal irl who wasn't like this.

« on: December 14, 2015, 11:52:56 AM »
The story was shit, the side missions were stupid, the Batmobile was forced on us, the tank battles were tedious, and the puzzles were pointless filler.  Seriously. Batman has a disease that is turning him into the Joker, and has already turned 4 other people into the Joker (even though they were going to be dead in 24 hours when we first learned about it in Arkham City, and thousands had been infected according to Barbara Gordon back then).  And there was no cure.  Because Mr Freeze couldn't make any more.  But let's forget all that.  The entire game is Batman being the world's greatest detective and tracking down hostages and rescuing them.  Fun times had by all.  But then when we get to the climax of the story, after he learns that Jason Todd was tortured in Arkham Asylum by the Joker and joined forces with Scarecrow, who was thought to be killed in Arkham Asylum, Batman obviously goes and rescues Robin and Gordon at Arkham Asylum, right?  No. He surrenders and allows himself to be captured and unmasked in front of a live broadcast.  But then again, he's going to die of the Joker disease anyway, because he just found out there was no cure.  Except it turns out the cure the entire time was getting shot up with Scarecrow's toxin and hallucinating himself punching the Joker in the face a bunch of times.  But then, he's still captured, and the Scarecrow will undoubtedly kill him now anyway, right?  No,  because the main villain of the story, who had been itching to kill Batman for not rescuing him after a year of getting tortured by Joker, forgives him after he apologized during the stupidest boss fight ever.  And then Jim Gordon knocks out Scarecrow in one punch and Batman kills himself.  That's some top flight story-telling there, Rocksteady.

To be fair, I feel like you could dumb-down any plot from any game like this.

The plot was nowhere near acceptable, though.
I just copy-pasted it from a Youtube comment because it made me laugh.

Uh, okay

I still disagree with you on this to some degree, but

That still has nothing to do with "billions of moderates"

Look, you can call me names and get pissy all you want, but the point remains that "billions of moderates" has nothing to do with this point that you're making.
The point is that just because they're not terrorists, it doesn't automatically make them "moderates" like many believe.

Stupid stat teacher didn't do a review or tell us what we needed to study, so I'm studying EVERYTHING.

Lol new2college?

Just don't study anything so you don't have to worry about studying information that won't be on the final.

to be fair, that's what happens when you ignore gun control and mental healthcare for decades

You reap what you sow, yanks.

Mental health is definitely the core issue.

We have to analyze socio-cultural changes over the last few decades and try and figure this out. Why is this happening all the time now? I believe it to be a number of factors, including but not limited to: poor mental health programs, the increased acceptability and accessibility of extremely violent and sexual content that could be viewed by children (without the guidance of an adult) and so forth.
You're forgetting what's arguably the most important factor: easy access to firearms.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

No.
I like how you say this, yet when Flee posts some well thought out thing with facts regarding gun control, no one every can refute what he has to say, and it ends up just being ignored.
Because he's wrong
Then refute it if you know why it's wrong
no

« on: December 13, 2015, 08:38:43 PM »
If it was truly for publicity, I don't think he'd be taking it as far as he has. The idea that he specifically ran in a convoluted plan to destroy the party is some tinfoil shit of the highest caliber. Him getting the nomination and then announcing it was all just a ruse all along to condemn Republican voters sounds like it belongs in the script to a shitty tv show.

Serious / Re: Another thread about suicide
« on: December 13, 2015, 08:27:44 PM »
I struggled quite a bit with depression and wanting to commit suicide and shit from age 11 through 17. It's been about 5 years since I've had any problems and it's honestly hard to understand what was going through my mind at the time. I've changed a lot since then and I can't really imagine myself being in that type of place again.

I know depression isn't typically something that goes away but hopefully you guys are able to overcome it like I did.

How many times do we have to have this thread?
Until the pussies, relativists and masochists of the West understand it.
Pretty sure like 90% of the forum already agree with the OP.
I don't know if you haven't been on here lately or what but it's fucking full of people here who blame everything but Islam.
And on the flip side, it seems you're the one to blame everything on Islam

But really, must every thread you make now be about ISIS? This section of the website should be changed to "Muslims discussions" or something. It's all you guys talk about now. I miss the other stuff.
It was exactly like this last year when all those ISIS beheading videos came out.

A coworker was talking about this today. He said Trump would win the presidency for sure if it does.
But that's only if was a the hands of an Islamic terrorist. American mass shooters are usually whiteys.
Then Carson wins.

It's gonna be shit.

Anyone getting hyped is setting themselves up for the mother of all disappointments.
Quit acting like a fool. It doesn't suit you.
i'm serious though
It's too late anyway. The hype is a part of me now.

How is that a bad thing at all? These poor assholes are living in the stone age, I think it'd be a fucking blessing to them to be modernized. Their culture is shit. They live in shitty little huts and probably do stupid barbaric rituals.
Because forcing tribal people to integrate into modern society has been working out so well so far.

Have you actually ever met a liberal that endorsed the Japanese Internment Camps?

No, but I've met a ton of liberals who speak of FDR like hes a God.
Touché. I'd imagine they aren't very familiar with history or else it is hypocritical of them.

I might have ruined her life actually fam tbh.

Hope this counts.

A Democrat also was the only person in history to use nuclear weapons on the public and infected syphilis on unknowing subjects as an experiment. So does that mean it's hypocritical for any Democrats or Liberals to condemn the killing of innocents?

I literally have no idea what the point is here or what's being discussed itt.
