I'll likely be tuning in.
Anyone know what the overarching topic is supposed to be? I'm guessing foreign policy will take the up the majority of the show, which I'm okay with.

I'll see what I can do, and I would have been done since 2013, but the college screwed me over in terms of my major, because they don't "offer a transfer or anything for it" and that I should pick another one after 3 fucking years of this.
Oh wow that's rough man. If losing financial aid was related to not having graduated yet, there should be a way to challenge that.

Wouldn't you have been about done? If money's the only hurdle, you could work up some money and then pick up where you left off later. I'd just try to practice coding so that the knowledge doesn't deteriorate.

It could logically stow away on another space ship to go after you.
It could, but is it intelligent enough to do so? If it "walks towards you", and you are in orbit above it, wouldn't it just walk across the earth repeatedly?
I mean it was smart enough to not fall for the trap at the end of the movie, so it's not like it's just a mindless zombie.
SPOILERS
I don't know if you'd call that intelligence. The power went out on its own so none of the appliances worked. It's goal is to kill, so throwing those objects might just be a method of killing.
Spoiler I may be remembering what happened incorrectly but it seemed like it was about to jump in the water and then stopped and then began throwing the electrical appliances in. And specifically the electrical appliances, nothing else.

My paternal lineage goes back to a large clan of Scottish lords. Beyond that, the line is mostly up to speculation. I don't know much about my other ancestors. My maternal grandfather was half Native American and I know I got some engine on my dad's side as well (which explains why I'm such a savage on these forums).

If they gave a shit about Gen X, then the movies would be angsty and starring Winona Rider...
But Winona Rider was in the first movie...

Uh, okay
I still disagree with you on this to some degree, but
That still has nothing to do with "billions of moderates"
Look, you can call me names and get pissy all you want, but the point remains that "billions of moderates" has nothing to do with this point that you're making.
The point is that just because they're not terrorists, it doesn't automatically make them "moderates" like many believe.
The "billions of moderates" thing is directly related to people claiming that most middle eastern people/arabs/Islamic people support terrorist groups like ISIS, though.
The treatment of women in middle eastern cultures is absolutely horrid and I could definitely see that being a severe issue with an extreme migration, though Germany shouldn't really consider that new considering the large immigration we had of Vietnamese people in the past, but I digress.
Anyways, saying that their culture clashes and is abhorrent in treatment of women has nothing to do with the whole "billions of moderates" phrase unless that phrase is as meaningless as "SJW" and just means "hey, man, FUCK brown people."
I was always lead to believe the "billions of moderates" phrase was addressing the typical phrase "Terrorists only make up a fraction of a fraction of the Muslim population. There are BILLIONS of moderates." by claiming that those billions still hold extremist beliefs, not saying that those billions are actually terrorists.

"LOL Door hasn't posted in this thread, that means libertarians are hiveminded HURRHURRHURR"
Even you can't be delusional enough to believe this is somehow a clever zinger. I was actually copying your post by making another senseless claim to counter your senseless claim. Not too surprised you didn't catch that.
It's not a senseless claim, though, as I explained.
Libertarians are hiveminds. I'm sorry that this fact upsets you.
It had nothing to do with either of my posts so it doesn't exactly make for a compelling insult unfortunately. I guess you responded quickly though so that's all that matters.

I actually just meant you should stop posting on this forum.
I know it can be confusing, because all liberals have trouble with reading comprehension (despite constantly claiming intellectual high ground).
You know, I was sitting there for about thirty seconds just relishing in that response I just made, so I thank you for validating the post by copying its structure entirely. You sat there for ten minutes trying to think of a comeback, and this is what you end up doing: copying me. Color me flattered.
At least what I said has a kernel of truth in it--libertarians are a homogeneous mass of "free thinkers" who think they're enlightened because they claim to value "liberty" and all these wonderful buzzwordy things. The trouble is that they're all selfish--they don't give a fuck about the collective, and that's their downfall.
Meanwhile, claiming that liberals lack reading comprehension is just a baseless, jejune insult. It's not just liberals who claim to have the "moral high ground"--everyone does. Your fellow libertard Das just did exactly that, if only you veered your mouse cursor four or five penis lengths above this post to see it.

Door has yet to post in this thread, actually.
I know it can be confusing, because all libertarians think the same way (despite claiming to value individual thought).

where new ideas and changes to the world around them make them feel afraid, make them feel frustrated when they're told their preconceived notions are wrong.
Never met a liberal irl who wasn't like this.

The story was shit, the side missions were stupid, the Batmobile was forced on us, the tank battles were tedious, and the puzzles were pointless filler. Seriously. Batman has a disease that is turning him into the Joker, and has already turned 4 other people into the Joker (even though they were going to be dead in 24 hours when we first learned about it in Arkham City, and thousands had been infected according to Barbara Gordon back then). And there was no cure. Because Mr Freeze couldn't make any more. But let's forget all that. The entire game is Batman being the world's greatest detective and tracking down hostages and rescuing them. Fun times had by all. But then when we get to the climax of the story, after he learns that Jason Todd was tortured in Arkham Asylum by the Joker and joined forces with Scarecrow, who was thought to be killed in Arkham Asylum, Batman obviously goes and rescues Robin and Gordon at Arkham Asylum, right? No. He surrenders and allows himself to be captured and unmasked in front of a live broadcast. But then again, he's going to die of the Joker disease anyway, because he just found out there was no cure. Except it turns out the cure the entire time was getting shot up with Scarecrow's toxin and hallucinating himself punching the Joker in the face a bunch of times. But then, he's still captured, and the Scarecrow will undoubtedly kill him now anyway, right? No, because the main villain of the story, who had been itching to kill Batman for not rescuing him after a year of getting tortured by Joker, forgives him after he apologized during the stupidest boss fight ever. And then Jim Gordon knocks out Scarecrow in one punch and Batman kills himself. That's some top flight story-telling there, Rocksteady.
To be fair, I feel like you could dumb-down any plot from any game like this.
The plot was nowhere near acceptable, though.
I just copy-pasted it from a Youtube comment because it made me laugh.
