I'd really like to understand the logic that some conservatives seem to think that a Bernie candidacy would be a layup for Republicans, or that Bernie would be way better than Hillary. Have you even looked at his proposed policies?

I've only done it if someone edits their post and I no longer agree with it/think it's funny.

Welcome to college. The leftist circle-jerk is maybe the most annoying thing ever.

It's worth noting that everything Icy is saying could also be applied to Trump as well.

Switching my vote to Jim Gilmore. I respect a man that doesn't know when to give up. #StillStanding

If I were to guess the GOP nominee is going to be, I'd say Rubio.
I was saying Ted Cruz before but if none of the three of them drop out and all the voters supporting the other candidates go to Rubio when they drop out, I could see it ending up being Rubio.

Have any of you seen this yet? Apparently it just came out on digital download yesterday. I really liked the show when it was on so naturally I was really excited for this movie since it was announced forever ago. I just watched the trailer and now I'm concerned. It doesn't look like it has much of a plot so I could easily see this end up being like all the other comedy sequels that come out years later and miss the mark entirely. I'd hate if it ended up being like some shitty American Pie movie. There aren't really any reviews online. What did you guys think if you've seen it?

there has been tons of good external advice ITT
empty platitudes aren't part of it
I'm not a psychologist. You asked for advice based on experience on a fucking forum. Not sure how you can expect meaningful insight when you've given us zero context whatsoever. If you want something more, go seek professional help.

realize that your problems are nothing that can't be overcome.
what a worthless platitude
?
I would say most young peoples' problems are nothing that can't be fixed by bringing about some sort of change. If you're not willing to do that, then the thoughts will probably keep coming back.
lmao
Some things literally can't be changed
Those things don't have to keep you down forever, though.
you're just full of idiomatic lines, aren't you
you're just now figuring this out? edit: read that as "idiotic"

who would've thought cruz would last, let alone take iowa
Turkey predicted he'd do well after he announced his campaign. I have to admit, I thought he was a joke.

I haven't had suicidal thoughts in almost six years but you gotta watch a comedy movie to get your mind off of it, convince yourself that your life is worthwhile, and realize that your problems are nothing that can't be overcome.

The fact that this discussion receives this kind of backlash says a lot.
I haven't seen anyone try to bring up legitimate arguments besides "dats racist!" except for Ramona.

I went away to college and lived in a dorm and got super homesick. College life wasn't what I thought it would be. I was fortunate and got a really nice dorm and had really cool roommates but I still didn't like it. I could have lived with one of my friends that goes there in a house but ended up turning him down and transferring and looking back, I'm glad I did.
I'm currently living with my parents and driving to my college. My brother's trying to get me to move into the house next to his college's housing area, where I'll have a shorter drive to my college, but it doesn't seem appealing whatsoever to me. I've visited his house and I know I'd hate it. I would like to move out into an apartment closer to my college if I could get some cool roommates and be away from the college atmosphere but the option isn't really available to me.

If it's institutionalized discrimination that's the cause of this then why don't Asian Americans have the same problems?
