I live in rural Ohio with a decent bit of land so I'm almost never bothered by other people. This is basically the polar opposite of the last place I lived, which was next to a bar in Akron, OH. There's a lot less to do but this is offset by the fact that there are far fewer people trespassing/breaking in. I'd personally love to move back around that area but I'd be staying outside of the city.

He’s a low-functioning narcissist that consistently puts himself before anyone else. Did we really expect anything more from him?

I legit see no purpose to that surprised blushing emoji. I don't think there's any conversation you can have where another one wouldn't be more relevant.

No, but I don't have much interest getting invested in another community.

SM2 is still the best in the franchise for me. The Holland movies are good but kind of disposable.
Into the Spider-Verse though....

Part of me is glad I don't have to deal with education during corona; part of me wishes I was furthering my education while my career is on hold due to corona.

Yeah, probably.
But I can't think of anything significant. Maybe I'm not feeling sentimental enough at the moment, even though it's been a pretty rough week for me overall.

under any other circumstances i would say go for the pt business.
i think right now, it would be smart to stick with your sales position and reconvene when things like gyms and gathering in groups is safer. you’re fortunate because the skills you’re using in sales will transition nicely into a pt business. who knows, in that time maybe you could transition into a new sales position with better hours so you could potentially juggle both.
i think it’s generally good to try to start a business on the SIDE while doing something else but training is something that would be immediately profitable and with little investment. i think you should definitely go for it somewhere down the line though. pt is something that will always have demand and if you excel, it can be far more lucrative than any sales position. i know i only know you from these websites but i could see you doing really well at it.
god bless 💯

It doesn't sound like he did anything that could warrant involving law enforcement. I also don't think she was wrong to share on social media about his shitty behavior. Regardless, the allegations are pretty tame, even if everything she described was 100% accurate.
Somehow I think he's going to make it out of this.
Doesn't surprise me whatsoever that this is a reoccurring problem in the gaming industry though.

Same here, and I was just now browsing options.
The one Cheat suggested is actually free with a 2-year plan. My mom is talking about getting an iPhone 11, which has a buy-one-get-one deal going on. I was also contemplating switching to android but I've never had one and I know everyone I'm in group chats with will bitch.
I still have an iPhone 6s right now, so likely anything on the market would be an improvement.

I think I’ve been turned off to them because my brother is a graphic tee fiend, and I think his are pretty bad, but it really depends. The biggest factor as to whether a t shirt looks good or not is whether the person wearing it is in shape or not tbh.
A jacked dude with otherwise good style is going to look a lot better in a batman shirt than some neck beard in the same shirt. Also the graphic itself makes a difference. So probably use your own discretion if you actually care about this type of stuff.

I'm pretty terrible about watching shows anymore (even when we were on lockdown). I'm watching that Epstein docu-series on Netflix. I watched Better Call Saul S5 a couple weeks ago. Also watched The Boys and Watchmen around February. That's all I can remember rn.
I've been considering re-watching Avatar TLA since it's on Netflix again, but realistically I'll probably watch a few episodes and then fall off.

But does society place too much emphasis on a college degree? Yes. I personally was pushed towards college (even though I didn't want to go at one point) and I think that's probably true for many people, considering almost 70% of high school students are enrolling in college immediately, according to these people. There seems to be this belief that I was fed: where you just need to get a college degree and life will basically be handed to you. I'm finding the reality to be a bit different. According to the Federal Reserve, only 27% of undergraduate degree holders end up working in a position directly related to the degree. Contrast this with an average price tag of around ~29k (in America). It's hard for me to see college as much more than a risky financial/personal investment, at best; a bit of a scam, at worst. The market today is simply over-saturated with bachelor's degrees to the point where many jobs have unnecessary educational requirements. It almost seems like college degrees are used to imply intelligence and work ethic, but obviously don't prove either. Can a person become an educated and intelligent individual without having to enroll into tertiary education?
Absolutely I mean, the man with the highest IQ scores on the planet holds no college degree. That may not be a great example, but you get the idea. It's not like the material used in academia is restricted from the public. As far as self-taught education vs. academia in general: that's a somewhat loaded question. You could read dozens of chemistry books, but you likely won't go far in the field without a tangible degree. However, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg are famously college dropouts, so it really depends. I think in general, degrees won't make someone more intelligent or successful, even though they may correlate. I guess I might as well mention that I graduated with a competitive major, with a decent GPA, from a well-known school, and have had a hell of a time on the job market post-graduation, so I'm obviously somewhat biased. But I consider myself lucky. A law degree has both a horrendous price tag and a horrendous employment rate. I've also read plenty of other stories of people with advanced degrees unable to find work. I'm glad I picked a major where I learned skills that I otherwise would not have, but if I ever achieve any sort of success, I'm probably not going to be thanking my degree.
