OK after the pawn shop scene I think I've warmed up to Bernthal's Punisher. That was awesome.
How come you didn't like him?

Dictionaries are not gospel truth, and treating them as though they are is very silly. Language is malleable. Words can mean literally whatever we want, as long as our message is clear.
Unless the word is feminism, right?

Does anyone have any evidence of there being a suppression of research into dysphoria-nullifying drugs? i.e. something that would "make the feelings go away" in contrast with transgenderism. i still don't understand why people say "we should be researching this and clearly something would be found" if they're not experts in the research area and if they haven't already checked to see what has been done
No. It's a baseless, pseudoscientific claim rooted in intolerance, frankly. I've poked holes in it before on here, which never gets responded to, but nonetheless people keep believing it.

I'll probably vote for Johnson if these end up being the choices.

I'd much rather have Hillary in office than Trump, but she has too many negative qualities that I don't know if it justifies supporting her. If I feel that Trump has a strong chance of winning, I'd probably vote for Hillary in that case but I'd have to think about it.

We should look into viable treatments and destroy this thought that it is something that is completely normal
No one is saying it's normal. It's obviously a malfunction that happens at birth. Ignoring the issue until this magical cure that will never exist comes along and makes everything right is going to do any good. It's not like accepting trans people somehow encourages it. And transphobia is obviously a big problem that they face which just makes their life harder. There's no harm that can rationally be attributed to encouraging an accepting society.

Absolutely not.

Too bad. Shouldn't have fucked her. Deal with the consequences.
"If a woman gets pregnant and doesn't want the baby, she should absolutely be able to have an abortion and banning that is a violation of women's rights"

"If a man gets a woman pregnant and doesn't want the baby, too bad. Shouldn't have fucked her."

- making it easier for women to get the healthcare they need at accessible costs (abolish the tampon tax, make it easier to get birth control, create easy, unrestricted, and private access to OB-GYN's, basically stop legislating the female body)
Don't forget Male right to abortion.

I could hope that you're reminding me to not forget that it's not only people who identify as women who have vaginas and utereuses etc, but that would be too much to ask for
I'm reminding you that - men should also have rights whether they're child should be born.
What about having the right to renounce responsibility of the child instead?

I don't understand why people are surprised to find differences in the brain of people with mental illness
You were the one acting like there's no basis for gender dysphoria, comparing it to identifying as a bowl of noodles.

Because he thinks the cure to transgenderism is acceptance, implying that the problem plaguing transgenders is social violence

And I'm saying that it's not
The problem is in their heads
And treating them like social outcasts is preferable?

There is no problem with self definition
You can be a fucking bowl of noodles for all I care
What you what to think is what you want to think
But do not impose on society fictionalized thinking
Because then the bowls of noodles will want society to accept them
And then truth becomes subjective truth and that is not a society I want to live in

Except it's not
The annual suicide rate for transgenders is O.8%
The ONLY comparable suicide rate in history is Jews living under Nazi rule
If you're telling me that society today treats transgenders as bad as Nazis did to Jews, then go fuck yourself
How did you take what Verb said and end up jumping to this?

God it's douchey to talk like something in politics is 100% going to happen when there's not even any statistics to make the argument for it yet.

because when Hillary wins she'll probably go far more liberal.
Highly probable. Hillary vs. Trump polls are a decent reference.

I actually can't think of anything more insufferable than an echo chamber, regardless of where they align on the political spectrum.

What do they even discuss? Bernie Sanders and reddit memes all day?

Say what you will about Sep7 and its shitposting tendencies but at least we actually have users with a diverse range of opinions and viewpoints.
I honestly think it's the only reason they've stayed "alive" this long. If you've ever witnessed a typical Sapphire member getting into an argument on the Flood or something, it's usually a pretty pitiful sight to see. They always go out, get rekt, start acting all arrogant like the argument is suddenly beneath them and then go back to Sapphire where they can circle jerk around how right they are.

It's not even worth trying to bring it to their attention at this point because it's been going on for something like 5 years or so that its just a defining part of the community. None of them even believe the place is a hug box.

It's hilarious that Ohio was given to Kasich, considering that a lot of Ohioans are not fond of him at all.
Looking at his competitors, it's not difficult to see why he did well.

Ohioans are more clever than the rest of America.
