Just watched the Godfather part 2 and I'm genuinely perplexed at how it's considered superior to or at least on the same level as the first one.
It seems much more simplistic than the first one which had many more characters with roles for all of them and a character arc for Michael. The second has none of that.
Working on part 3, will post my thoughts if this thread takes off.
