I would have given it a 70-80% rating as well. It's not a bad movie.
If you thought it was that good then I fail to see your point. Rotten Tomatoes just weighs together positive and negative reviews. Like when Toy Story 3 got almost a perfect 100%, it doesn't mean they thought it was the best movie ever, just means no one actively disliked it.

Jeremy Jahns loved it so I don't know what to believe.
He also said similar things about Man of Steel and gave it the same score, despite seeming to view it negatively now and saying Suicide Squad is significantly better. Not saying he wasn't being genuine in this review but it's something to keep in mind.
