First of all, I do receive PMs and I do read them. Secondly, why don't you also link the OP which was the main reason to actually lock that thread which was in the Serious board? Finally, how would it actually resolve the dispute and unlock the thread by such a pathetic way of "calling out" a potentially erroneous moderator action?

I do have an idea, but I don't think what Joe Quinn did was a good thing either. If you read further down my post. You really have no idea what is actually going on, do you?

Locked the thread since it doesn't help creating any kind of discussion, nor it's funny.

Locking the thread since it contains heavy bias as to whether the intent to generate actual arguments is there, and also has a chance to create hate conversation.

Nobody should be treated like this. There are plenty of stories in game development where developers were targeted with death threats in the past, and some harassment. Some people out there are, to put it bluntly, assholes. Threatening people's lives is not a funny matter.
Whoever is harassing someone like that, sending threats and so forth, no matter how just they may be– they mustn't get away with it. It's a criminal offense, it's illegal and more so immoral. #GamerGate is composed by hate, and that's not acceptable.
Zoe Quinn... That's a whole entire story on its own. Where most of the people who go bother hating on her probably aren't even qualified to do so, not only for not being involved into such a shameful and twisted story that came into the public light, but also because it lacks respect for the fellow person.
If you want to be better than Zoe Quinn, Kotaku and all these people who blatantly hate on others through a tag then be better. Be respectful, be decent, be someone you would be happy with being without spouting out your issues, worries, fears, and whatever else onto other's misery.
Sincerely, this whole matter is a bad stain for the reputation of all the journalists because of the implications of lack of ethics, respect and professionalism; where writers and creatives out there who put work into being professional, neutral and ethical as much as possible with their work might be affected by the general image generated by this.
BBC certainly has raised a solid point; behave like humans, think twice before insulting someone online, think twice before joining on any kind of ongoing social gathering, and understand that at the other side of the screen, behind a video game and behind any kind of work there's a person, with also their own issues, story, experiences and desires. Where BBC failed was to provide a properly neutral argument and to also showcase why people who jump into such a hate train, and why would someone might want to go as some people went over this issue.

What do you expect me to say to that? If you want to be narrow minded then please, go on ahead, nobody's stopping you, but if you don't have a logical argument to back up that point then don't expect anyone to actually take you seriously. the less gay people we have in power the better tbh

Certainly it means our society has come a long way to accept a homosexual CEO just like that.

They will find his sunken skeleton in the depths of lake Michigan in about ten years. I know not what this means. Where'd Colbert go off to?

Alright, I have got enough submissions in my survey. Thanks to everyone who participated and shared some feedback– I appreciate.

343 Industries' approach to armor design feels more of a more bright and crude approach compared to Bungie's.

You are correct, but I won't get into such an argument. Why do you want people to be kind to you if you do nothing in return? Why don't you write my essay for me if I answer your survey?

I never expected someone to care, only the kindness to fill out the survey, and help someone else is what I would personally appreciate, or at least state an issue. Doesn't take nerve at all. I know. But I can't believe OP has the nerve to post this shit and expect us to care.

You are absolutely correct; it isn't a good survey by all means. You're also not supposed to care. However, I am sure you do realize this on your own. OPs shitty survey and this shitty thread OP made about his survey.

It's a matter of preference and arguing about preference is quite, effectively, pointless. I always give people who play those games a hard time too. I'd rather play for Xbox Live than for WoW or another MMO because at least with XBL I can play more than 1 game.

Hello, I am running a short survey on video games for a college project. I would appreciate any submissions to it. Any feedback is welcome, and I would like to hear thoughts on the questions given. (You can also skip any question you are not comfortable with)Survey has been completed. Thanks everyone.

Most likely we would end up doing foreplay and then play video games.

Alright, just for you. If you want to become a ninja then all you have to do is film a 30-day long trip in the desert with your only tool of survival being a spoon of your choice.

Am deeply sorry to hear that. You have been quite active from before I even joined, and well, I hope this is just a temporary leave and that at some point you will rejoin the community, hopefully, will be more welcoming for you by the time you will if events allow, return.

Not necessarily. There are bots, spiders and other services online. Perhaps Archive.org is included, Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Yahoo, some malicious ones that want to send spam, and whatever else might be out there. Isn't it bots from the ad service?
