Love rainy days.

It was absolutely drenching earlier though.
At least I don't have to wash my car now.

Meh. I don't really care for the game myself, but I disagree with the idea that its not fun or appealing for its audience, or that its all somehow artificial. I'm sure the devs have worked to build the scene, but that doesn't mean its all fake. That just sounds like weird conspiracy nonsense.

I doubt it'd have that many players if it wasn't somehow fun. Besides I've had friends get sucked into LoL hardcore.

I generally fall into the TotalBiscuit / Erik Kain / Boogie camp.
Started off neutral, but ended up getting pushed towards pro GG because of journalists flat out lying and twisting the narrative.

Good vid if you haven't seen it:

Tough choice between Cali and Florida.

On the one hand there is nothing redeemable about Florida. Miami, rednecks, snakes, bugs, crocs, heat, looks like USA's penis. Would probably be the best choice for humanity to eradicate that mess before it spawns some kind of mutant.

But with Cali you get the San Francisco LA combo and all the snob douches that go with it.

Surprised to see so many vote for texass.

« on: October 19, 2014, 04:32:24 PM »
Normally that would be the job of gaming 'journalists', but they're too busy pushing political agendas atm.

Meh. People should be wary of getting fracked over of course, but there's a fine line between being cynical and being a cynical asshole. I'm not going to rage if people buy DLC I think is a ripoff or whatever. Its their money they can waste it how they like.

Besides, I can't be too cynical when I know stuff like Persona 5 is being worked on. σ(≧ε≦o)

Their biggest weakness has always been infighting.
Whose the most victimized little snowflake. Whose the most ideologically pure.

It's what killed the atheism+ cult in the end.

He also raised taxes a bunch.
Repubs aren't often accused of being the smartest bunch.

Same as democrats.
No disagreement here. Dems are slowly going full sjw. You never go full sjw.

I wonder if they think that people who don't respect girls will see that ad and suddenly start respecting girls.

Also my respect is earned on an individual basis. I don't just hand it out for free. I'm not some kind of respect-slut.

I guess I don't really see a difference.
A good game is a good game.

I enjoyed Transistor as much as I did Infamous SS.
I"m as excited for Hyper LIght Drifter as I am for Pokemon/Persona Q.

Either I'm becoming more conservative or liberals are becoming more liberal.
I think its the latter.

Kinda sucks cuz now everyone looks insane to me.
People tend to become conservative as they age. Doesn't mean you suddenly think gays are evil, just that you develop a differing mind set. There's an article on it
I'm aware of that idea. Its been around for a while. I just don't think my position has changed on a lot of issues. Just seems like there are more sjws about. America's two party system is constantly changing as well. Usually one party will be big tent and accept moderates and the other will be small and ideologically pure. Then every 8 years or so we swap.

Meh not like it matters really. Same outcome.

Gaming / Re: Question for gamers?
« on: October 16, 2014, 05:56:46 PM »
The only console I called 'the Nintendo' was the SNES since it had Nintendo in the name. Plus I was like 5 and that was essentially the console at da tiem.

My parents mostly know what's up when it comes to consoles at least. They were gamers back in the day, and they usually know what I'm on for gift cards / etc.

The worst part is when your team of randoms refuses to focus fire on one guy.
They'll drop a guy's shield and then walk away to attack another boss.

Meh. If its just adsense then that's whatever. No big deal. Hopefully we end up ditching google soon.

But the way some people in this thread were defending the idea of locking threads just because they find them offensive. That's garbage. The minute we start banning words just because they offend people is the minute I"m gone. The line should be at attacking/harassing people.

If you're trying to police others to match your morals/feelings or think you have a right to not be offended then you've crossed the line into sjw territory, and I've seen enough forums ruined by that type of thinking.
