Its a really stupid decision on their part, but you can't force people to go through chemo. That's ridiculous.

I either cut them myself, or look them up. Usually to do with a game or something I enjoy.

You would think if you're paying for online this would be included with it or at least slightly raise the cost if you want it.
They paid a shitload to acquire gaikai, hence the price and why its separate from ps+. With sony's current financial straits I don't see them giving it out to be nice.

That's expensive. Also, doesn't it get rid of those games as soon as you stop paying? I know the Xbox GWG aren't always the latest and the greatest, but it's nice to actually get to own the game and play it whenever.
Xbox gwg only works that way on 360. On xb1 its the same way as ps+. But psnow is a separate service entirely, and they're moving it to TVs apps etc. . Netflix, hulu, dish, etc. all do the same thing, so I see no issue with keeping content. If you decide to buy into any of these things you're paying for the service. Or renting a single game.

The price is just too steep for the sub to make real sense atm. I'd probably stick to the pay per game format if I end up using it.

really though, who keeps consuming IGN's product? how are they still remotely successful?
The podcast beyond stuff is probably the best playstation podcast out there. That and they're pretty up to date with the news side of things without getting overly opinionated. Its the review side that is tripe.

When is PSNow even launching in Europe?
lol assumed you guys had it already.
We don't as far as I'm aware
Evidently Japan and Korea just received it at the end of 2014 and you guys are up for Q1 2015.
Haven't really used it myself anyways yet. Would rather put money towards owning a game than waste it renting one. To stream none the less.

Ugh. Every time an anime thread roles around I end up adding new stuff to my list.

On the bright side I won't be wanting for something to watch for the next few years. But man its going to take me forever to get caught up.

I don't understand what my husband is saying.

That was brilliant, I was expecting a simple comedy with only a few tricks to pull at the start.
I got a really charming and genuinely funny show.
Loved it immediately. Pacing was perfect.

Wait, are people seriously starting to conflate otherkin with transhumanists?

No wonder I have constant urges to brutally murder people all the time.
blame tumblr
I don't think this is so much an actual thing as it is just dustin doing what dustin does.
Even tumblr seems to know whats up.

Not that I'm not sure there are some naive people out there who would confuse the two.

Kinda big news if you are familiar with the podcast beyond stuff (which they'll still be doing as freelancers). IGN just lost a big chunk of their playstation division.

Sounds like they're doing their own youtube/patreon thing. Makes me wonder just how much of a strain sites like Youtube and Twitch are putting on traditional gaming news outlets.

From my perspective, you did a good job while there.
But if you don't want to stay in the position, it's better that you drop it.

The staff thread needs another update now...

Thanks. One day, maybe I'll return. But with Disney coming up extremely quickly (Not that it played a huge role in the decision), it'll be nice to take a step back.
nigga u workin at disney world?

Start in 26 days.
I vote we start the first inaugural 'Icy takes Sep7 to Disney World for free' day.

This is an ancient trailer, but I never posted it before in similar threads. I saw the "Making of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and what went through to create the trailer and the final result is quite badass.

Funny how amazing Oblivion still is in my mind, but looking at how its aged the graphics are almost comical now.

Meh. I'll admit you probably weren't my first choice as mod, and I do feel you were more strict than I'd like. Realistically I'm probably more comfortable with Chronic in there.

That said I don't think you're a bad mod, and didn't feel like you had to step down. Maybe an adjustment in your approach sometimes, but you usually did a good job sorting through the petty shit.

But I can understand not wanting do deal with all the bs anymore. I don't think I'd want to be a mod either since I come here for entertainment, and that would just feel like job.

Apologies if any of my antics lead to this decision. I get a bit argumentative with certain personality types. Feel like I might have been adding to your lack of enjoyment the last couple days. I'll probably work on changing that, and just ignoring the annoying people.
