I read the op, and already looked into it extensively seeing as how its a) old and 2) a game I plan on getting.
Clearly you're invested in it so you have some interest in proving to yourself that your future investment is a waste of money. If you're dead-set on getting it, that's fine but don't try to make false claims to make it look less bad.
You clearly didn't read the OP because I'm not referring to the rumors from several weeks ago. I'm referring to a two-day-old thread on Reddit (which doesn't necessarily count as old unless that's what you're referring to in which case, holy shit it's not that old).
I've been plenty negative on the game in various threads I've made here. So if you think I'm blindly supporting it don't know what to tell ya.
Guess we'll see in a couple days then when the reviews start coming in.

7 months of garbage in the form of anti/pro gamergate. Plus probably Ben Kuchera calling him a racist for no reason, and acting like a general twat on twitter. He (Ben) tried to get some kid fired from his job a while back because he lost an open discussion with him. All that culminated in a Law and Order SVU episode that anti-gg hyped up, but ended up basically painting all gamers as terrorists, and bringing back the old 'video games cause violence' narrative. Had some hilariously bad lines though. Plus VG24/7 subtlely threatening devs to shut up or else, which riled up everyone from Kevin Levine to Pewdiepie. In short shitstorm. Beautiful shitstorm for once. Too much to really type out in any decent detail. Basically these journalists have quite literally been calling people who dared disagree with them equal to KKK, ISIS, etc. Then they act appalled when the msm suddenly starts painting gamers as the KKK and ISIS, and shitting on the industry as a whole.

not sure why this is pinned.... Yeah I don't sell my old games or consoles. The little bit of cash you get is hardly ever worth the nostalgia when you go back years later. My snes, xbox, and 360 are in storage. My mom did sell off my gameboy, gb color, and advance years ago though. Which makes me sad face.  Luckily Wii U virtual console is a thing though.

pff, my ps4 tried to tell me i had parental controls on today and it wouldnt let me play online. it unfucked itself after 10 mins but it scared the shit out of me considering im the only one that plays on the ps4.
i liked TLOU (inb4cruifiction), i aint judgin you.
Mine's ether having issues with the psu, hdd, or hdmi port. Haven't been able to narrow it down yet. Found other people with similar symptoms online. Keeps shutting itself off like its overheating. Tried wiping the hdd. Didn't work. Past warranty, and really don't want to buy a new one, but for P5 and FFXV I'd have to.
my ps3 power cord (the slim) works with the ps4, if you still have it you could try that first just to be sure.
Never had ps3 otherwise I would have given that a try.

You just unintentionally trolled the shit out of me lol. For some reason the walmart site is interfering with some of the script extensions on firefox. Immediately crashes my computer. Haven't bothered to sort it since I don't go there. Already got a cord on order from Amazon on the cheap tho. Just waiting for it to get here.

Of course. That isn't going to get you out of how obvious it was that you didn't read the OP or the link I provided. I encourage you to read through the rest of the thread but it's fairly likely that you won't so I'll just say it one more time.
The "old news" from a few weeks ago is referring to the fact that somebody got the trophy for completing the game in five hours. At that stage, the five hours thing was a rumor because they didn't know if that person was speedrunning the game. Now that this Let's Play video from two days ago has surfaced and it's been noted that they weren't trying to speedrun the game, it's pretty clear now that the average playthrough is five hours long and that at least half of it is cutscenes.
My OP was referring to the LP from two days ago, not the several week old trophy kerfuffle (which Comet linked to earlier and you certainly would have known this if you had read this thread in any detail because he linked to it two posts in).
Moral of this story is read fucking OP.
Two days is old. I was aware of the let'splay before clicking your thread. You're not breaking anything new here. You seem kinda invested in this tho. Like I said all we can do is wait for reviews, but feel free to yell about how right you are.
