Gaming industry is bigger than Hollywood at this point. GTA V made a billion dollars in 3days. There is money every where, not to mention a thriving indie scene.
That's because a movie sells usually at $20-$25.. while a video game sells at $60 -_-

2014 being a slow year for games op likes is irrelevant to the stability of the market.
Plus anyone suggesting 2015 is gonna gave no good games is dumb. This year is gonna be insane.

Question for you two or anyone else who plays, how's the customization? Like is there much armor diversity looks wise? A dye system? Anything like that? Or does every white Mage run around in the same white and red robe?
you'll have gear sets obviously but there's a dye system. Just running through towns very few people look alike.
ah okay good. I was trying to look into it and see different sets but I was just getting the same generic white Mage robe over and over and I was wondering if just the stats changed for new sets or the actual appearance.
my white mage is only at 37. Uses most of the same gear as I do as a black mage, scholar, or summoner, but that's just cuz I don't have a ton of specialized gear atm.
But ye no white mage robes for me. I look like a badass wizard most of the time. Tho goin for that ninja now.
Gear gets more diverse and detailed the higher the level.

dunno. I'll definitely be tempted. New race, 3 new jobs, new cities.
Just so many other games this year. I'll probably get roped in to picking it up tho.

what server do you play on? One of my friend from bungie (josh55886, not sure if you know him) says he still plays it "a lot" and that he would play with me if I got it. And this is a really nooby I question because I've only played MMOs where you could freely change servers, or there were just regional servers, but is there any way we could dungeon together if you and I were on different servers? I know we couldn't quest together
I'm on jenova. Have Josh on psn. He's always on there. Not sure on different servers running the same dungeon. Been awhile since I ran one.

Also, why do you keep up with American politics even though you live in the UK? There's nothint wrong with that, I'm just asking because people tend to not care about other country's politics.
Maybe it has something to do with the general lack of knowledge and understanding of the outside world that is rather prevalent in the US, but everyone here that I know cares about politics in a lot of different countries.
It's not just the outside world. Quite a few Americans couldn't tell you a thing about the midwest. Given a blank map I doubt many could name each state. I don't really understand it its just one of those things.

Thinking about suicide is no biggie. It's pretty natural to hit low points in life. It always gets better as long as you're willing to make the effort. Exercise is the best thing I can recommend for depression. Does wonders for your mood.

Lived in Yokosuka, Japan for 4years. Loved it.
Would definitely go back. Could see myself in the uk/aus/nz as well. Maybe a couple other Europoors for the hell of it.
Love travel and different cultures so don't see why not.

I liked it a lot. Controls are mapped pretty well for controllers. Just wish I had more time to get back into it.
It's dungeons are rough. You have to learn them with little room for error. Which makes it harder with randoms.
But you only need one character and can swap between classes. I definitely want to get back to it, so I'll see what May looks like.
