Noof and WHU have always handled NSFW content well.
When the lot of you and this site get a little older, grow out of your 'just another internet persona to you people' phase, and really start getting to know each other more personally as a whole then there's a good chance you might change your minds about this rule. It doesn't inherently mean that nothing but gore and porn will be spammed to the end of time or that people will just use it as another bait tool. The fact that most of you gave this suggestion a flat out 'NO' shows how little trust you all still have for each other for the most part. I suppose that is to be expected, though, as most of you are just now beginning to break away from B.net and become part of a more tight-knit community. 6696

Maybe it's because your usernames aren't the same as on B.net, but I don't really recognize a lot of people. Legos are one of the few toys you can bring from childhood into adulthood with little to no serious judgement from people.

Once walked about 20 miles with two friends to another friends house, got harassed by some uptight cops on the way there, smoked a bunch of weed and ended up dropping acid randomly when we arrived (dude just happened to be getting some), chilled all night and left early morning, would've had to walk 20 miles back trippin but this wild chick I hadn't seen in like 3 years just randomly happened to be driving by and asked if we needed a ride. She didn't even know it was me at first.
Her friend was driving like a maniac and went down a certain road that was notorious for being very hilly and curvy. All the while I'm in the back seat trying to explain to this girl that I'm balls deep down the rabbit hole and it feels like I'm on a rollercoaster. Pretty crazy night. 6713
The Flood / Re: Shut up!« on: August 08, 2014, 10:48:21 AM »
This discussion is nice and all but Cheat has yet to prohibit attention whore threads. You can request that the rules be changed but outright asking for that whole process to be skipped and having the threads be locked now is too much action against too many users for the satisfaction of a few others.
Even if half the board agreed with locking attention threads, it should still be made an official rule before any of them are actually locked. We can't just jump the gun here. 6714

Gaming / Re: Any games you're 'godly' at? Ever made a montage?« on: August 08, 2014, 04:43:23 AM »I couldn't disagree more. Games like Quake have almost no skill ceiling and are incredibly high skilled. Starcraft aside, I can't think of any game that takes as much skill and thinking as Quake does.Quake, from what I've seen, is very dynamic in its basic formula for out witting your opponent and its core game mechanics. Something that is becoming increasingly less common nowadays it seems. I didn't mean to imply that every shooter had close skill gaps which is why I said, "for the most part." Compared to some games, shooters these days have far less that separates the average players from the best players than what they could have. At least, that is how it seems. Where are all the shooters that leave room for special trick jumps and maneuvers, or nade tricks like the old Halos used to have? Where is the emphasis on spawn control and predictions? It seems that the main emphasis is becoming 'who has the better aim,' which is overshadowing other methods for victory in shooters these days. 6719
