God, I hope it's not a major issue. It hasn't been so far.
But when a thread with one topic title ends up somewhere completely different (especially when the new subject is pretty much shit slinging) something needs to be done. Either by splitting the topic, locking it, and/or issuing a warning.
You issued the warnings because it was an argument than went on too long, right? I really don't want to spend my entire day on here warning people for posting something not pertaining the the specific topic, because that literally happens often enough for it to be possible.
