When it comes to stories, good vs evil as a premise doesn't grip me as much. Sure there's a lot of great stories centered around this cliche struggle, but I find the search for truth/discovering oneself/a quest for understanding to be the most engaging to me, even over the struggle for survival.

This dude known as TheDope on Hipforums. Like some psychonautical Buddhist hippie that posts philosophical musings that are almost certainly influenced by the use of entheogens.

There was a lot of teen spirit until a black hole sun came and washed it all away, leaving us with no rain. Jeremy spoke in class and talked about how he was going hungry. Someone tried to give him something to eat and he had ten thousand spoons but all he needed was a knife. I guess he just wanted it that way. Probably practiced too much santeria.

But you are concerned about why they still care, which is what I explained.
They continue to care because it's funny to care? You sure there isn't just someone on here that keeps bringing this place up over there eh?

Have a look at some of the threads, they're laughing at us.
I'm also not concerned with whether or not they love or hate this place. tbh I'm just wondering if people here are still on there making a fuss about this place because I would have expected everyone to have moved on from caring about Sep7agon.

Sep7agon is the strong independent black woman who don't need no man.

Still, if they had taken to giving some name to Cheat, how would we feel? The fact that everyone here acts like this place is superior in every way to Bungie.net is really unattractive to some people. It gives a feeling that it's either here or there, there's no in-between. As such, it creates a sense of elitism among the users. "Enjoy your shitty, buggy site idiots". That's what it's like. And like it or not, this place is dependent to a good extent on Bungie.net. What is it that Sep7agon offers people that aren't from Bungie? This place is pretty much made to cater for current/past members of that site, so if we want to actually keep the place going we'd probably not want to piss them off at every turn. So here's the deal : how about we cut out all this "b.lind,/activision.net, etc" bullshit and just treat b.net as a different forum. Not inferior, just different. See what happens.
Spoiler Also, I don't know everything that people from here post over there, but I highly suspect it also has something to do with it. I don't know about "everyone here" but I'm just me, and like I just said 20 or so minutes ago, I have no qualms with the userbase of b.net. (ergo I don't go around calling them idiots). I'm also not concerned with whether or not they love or hate this place. Again, I'm just wondering why we're still relevant over there.

Because there's a clear divide between here and bungie. The whole "this place is better" attitude needs to stop if you want to see change. The fact that mods are using derogatory terms to even describe the site (see: title of this thread) is something that contributes to the elitist attitude people associate with this place. It's one of the big reasons people don't want to join.
I have no qualms with users. Bungie itself however is another matter. It doesn't take a genius to see what happened to that company and its attitude towards the community. As a derogatory term, "activision.net" says nothing about the userbase that still visits that site. I'm also not concerned with anyone from B.net joining here. I'm just legitimately surprised that this place is still relevant to people over there, especially enough for them to post threads. Truly I'm not wondering why people don't like Sep7agon, I'm wondering why they still care at all. I figured that this site would be nothing more than a memory and not a subject of discussion.

Why do you care that they care?
Because I am interested in the way the human mind works.
