Your definition of logic seems to be akin to action and reaction, or karma (consequence.)
I hope you're not accusing me in believing in that mystical "what comes around goes around" bullshit. Like, if someone does something bad, they're always gonna get their comeuppance in some form or another? No, I don't believe that crazy shit, but I assume you mean it in a more broad sense that I was not sure of the existence of.
Karma isn't some mystical force. It's just the nature of consequence and influence.

IE: If you play with fire long enough, you'll eventually get burned. Not because some divine force decided to teach you a lesson. Simply because you made a mistake and burned yourself.

A broader example is that if you cause suffering then there will undoubtedly be more suffering in the environment you happen to be in and you will inevitably suffer more yourself, unless you somehow manage to escape the influence of your actions or just stop caring about anything that would cause you to suffer to the point that your ego is unaffected by it all.

It's only logical to assume that logic in and of itself is conditioned by sentience.
Are you some kind of solipsist or something? What is this? Yes, there absolutely exists logic in the universe even if there's no sentient life to perceive it. It doesn't just go away once we do. That's arbitrary.
I believe the universe just does as it is conditioned to do, not because something is deciding it should do according to logic.

Your definition of logic seems to be akin to action and reaction, or karma (consequence.)

If all sentient life was gone then I say that nothing would be solved because all issues would not exist, and there would be nothing to solve in the first place.
The important thing is that there would be nothing wrong, either.

And I say that there is no rationality in such an event because sentience must exist for rationality to even manifest.
Sounds like presuppositionalist bullshit, to me.

I guess I'm for the destruction of rationality, too, then. I don't care. My whole point is that humans suffer, and the ones who don't suffer still have the capacity to do so and the ability to cause others to suffer through reproduction. This is an insidious waste and it should cease to exist.

What you're basically arguing for, right now, is the perpetuation of problems. You want problems to exist. That's... Yeah, that's evil.
It always comes down to your ridiculous self inflicted genocide or whatever you call it.

We just HAD to let this motherfucker back in.
Get over it for now. This hasn't gotten out of hand yet, so don't start it down that path.

Well I never implied what I wanted. I'm only attempting to convey the truth in a relative sense.

Here's an interesting thought:
If all life on Earth (from all the kingdoms) killed themselves, every problem in the world would be solved. Perhaps even the universe.
I hold a different point of view. In my eyes, a problem is only solved when those who are influenced by it are there to experience the the consequence of that problem being eliminated.

If all sentient life was gone then I say that nothing would be solved because all issues would not exist, and there would be nothing to solve in the first place.

And I say that there is no rationality in such an event because sentience must exist for rationality to even manifest.

Siiiigh.

I've been asked this question a mind-numbing number of times.

First of all, a lot of people would be affected if I were to kill myself. I don't feel like giving my friends and family years of depression of their own. Secondly, there's still a lot for me to do in this life. I have many projects I'd like to finish, and messages to send. If I'm a slave during the slave trade, and I want to end slavery, I'm not going to succeed by killing myself. No, I'm going to attempt, in whatever ways I am able to, to make change so that future generations can live more comfortably (and peacefully cease to be once everyone hopefully becomes anti-natalist).
Well then you have some goals in life? Then where is the rationality in dying? It would do nothing to further your aspirations. Relative to your life and your ambition, staying alive seems to be a rational thing.

Ultimately all of that is meaningless, of course, so one could argue that there's no point to living. But, in that context, rationality is also meaningless and doesn't even exist.

It's not that you don't want to do any drugs. It's that you actually considered killing yourself because you drank alcohol just once. Feeling bad about it is one thing, but becoming suicidal is definitely a sign of some sort of mental problem.
Because it's weird for a human not to want to be alive? I don't think that's weird at all. I think that's rational, mostly.
Going from alright to suicidal after drinking just once is definitely evidence of some kind of mental disorder. You didn't explain that your suicidal thoughts were the culmination of multiple issues.

And if you believe that such a quick end to suffering is rational, then why do you endure?

Alcohol made me suicidal the first and only time I've ever been drunk, because I was so upset with myself that I did it in the first place.
If being under the influence just once makes you suicidal, then I would defo suggest not touching any substances. The fact that you reacted that way alludes to some mental problems, (depression, anxiety, whatever) and altering perception isn't going to help with that. I'd get that sorted out, because someone with a healthy mentality shouldn't consider ending their own life because of something like that.

Honestly, you don't have to try pot twice to feel the effects. You just have to make sure you actually inhale the smoke or vapor. Newbies often just take a few puffs and let the smoke sit in their mouths for a few seconds without actually breathing it in.

If it's good enough weed then you're going to feel the effects if you actually smoke it right. THC hits you almost immediately.

Usually distractions like the internet, video games, whatever. Maybe smoke a little pot if I can.

Or abide by zen philosophy at times and remember how my problems are impermanent and meaningless, ultimately.

Fuck that must have been hard to type.

I have some ailments, and am scheduled to have surgery next week, but my problems seem very lax in comparison.

You say that absolute truth, regardless of how much it hurts, frees oneself. . . Remember that freedom, in its purest form, eliminates all power from suffering and thus no absolute truth could ever be painful.

I'm sorry I mean to imply that everything consistent be canon. Anything in the EU that makes sense.
What if it's ambiguous? When there's a contradiction, how do you decide which is canon and which is not? There could be a variety of ways it could make sense. How are you supposed to decide, and who's gonna give enough of a shit to do so?
Eh fuck all that. I guess they should have supported it through development. It must all be very nonsensical.

On a side note, I just learned that non-nonsensical is a legitimate, albeit redundant, word.
