Actually, I'm probably the furry mod if there is one.

You don't just become admin of WHU being normal.
What is that?

I like crackers with cheese and pepperoni but, for a snack, it's a hassle to prepare.

To clarify, everyone has personas they put on for others if they're social between multiple people of varying association. You act differently around your family and friends respectively, for example. You might have a different disposition, use different language, etc.
Regarding this. I may alter the way I present myself according to who I'm interacting with, but my underlying personality is always still the same. The fundamentals of my ego don't change and if I ever acted like they do then I'm putting on a front.

I've always been just me. Molded by the world like clay into different forms. No so easily now as I once was, but there's still plenty of room to change.

As for what's inside my head, I may think in the context of many different personae (that's a strange plural), either to refine them for use in maybe a story or even a certain situations, to learn something from doing so, or maybe just for entertainment purposes, but I never associate them with myself really.

Teleportation. Hands down.

You could go anywhere!

You might control fire or Gravity, but you still have to drive hours on end to get anywhere.
If you controlled gravity well enough you could just create a gravity wave strong enough to warp space-time and propel yourself across the universe at unimaginable speeds.

I think gravity would be a pretty nifty thing to control.

Entertainment is in the eye of the beholder.

Personally though, I like stories that can be rather dark and ominous, creepy etc. etc. but in the end show you that no darkness endures eternity and that everything changes eventually.

The Flood / Re: so how am I supposed to react to people?

When someone gives you advice, Loaf, what do you do with it? How do you take it?
I read it and then I say alright I get it.
Oh really? Because it seems to me like you took that advice I gave you in that PM and tossed it down the garbage shoot of your brain like the stank old left overs in the fridge from a week ago.

If you can complain about a lack of empathy then you can see your own. It doesn't matter how harsh someone's criticism is, if you want to improve your character then you have to take it for what it is. Question EVERYTHING. It doesn't matter if it's profoundly wise or elegant in presentation, comes gift wrapped in a silver lined box with a sparkling bow, or if it's like someone handing you a metaphorical handful of rusty nails and razorblades. The very fact that you provoked any sort of response from someone is evidence to your influencing them and if you ever want to get anywhere analyzing and contemplating your own nature then you need to understand how you affect other people and how they react to it with a clear mind and focused attention.

Pulling the indignant card anytime someone gives you any amount of shit is setting yourself up for utter failure in that regard and pure folly.

I am just sick of people saying that the way I naturally talk is wrong. I seriously want to expose their guts.
Why does their judgement matter?

The Flood / Re: so how am I supposed to react to people?
« on: January 20, 2015, 09:59:28 PM »
You don't have to think hard about how you're going to act. Just act. Be natural.

If you don't like your nature then don't complain about it. Figure out how to change it.
If you don't like someone else's nature then don't complain about it. Worry about your own.

The Flood / Re: Past or Future You?
« on: January 20, 2015, 09:43:33 PM »
The past is long dead and as shitty of a time as it was for me. It was all necessary. So I look to the future, and ask a few simple important questions.

But I have another question. What if you go to summon future you, and nobody shows up because future you is dead? Then what?
Well, unless you were to die instantaneously as you read and comprehend this point, there will always be a future you.

No it's just an experimental bi-neural sine wave we implemented that is beamed into your hearing subtly to influence hallucinations, depolarized induced suppression of inhibition, and occasional ophthalmic migraines while you browse.
Are you suggesting I have a preference for smaller banners?
Is that what your subconscious is telling you?
