Seems like the general consensus of every forum akin to this is to be overly concerned with gayness and faggotry.

When you say the inherent depth of a person, do you mean to imply that we have various depths to ourselves compared to each other? Because I say that the core of everyone's being is in the same place, no further away than anyone else's. The seeming difference between how easy it is to get in touch with it is merely created by the amount of what we take from reality to shape our personality and identity.

If more worldly and superficial a person you are, the more of life's baggage you will inevitably carry, and the less likely you are to be in touch with 'the self' and vice versa.
you're making me cringe reading this. If I have to simplify what i say for you then the meaning is lost.
Why would you cringe? Wisdom is discernment though simplicity.

On top of that, I asked you to elaborate which automatically implies that your point is even more complex.

Something I'd also like to mention: DO NOT FIGHT THE TRIP. You're not going to be in the realm of normal mundane perception and conception under the influence for at least 5 hours and I've known some to be fairly frightened by this because they always want to remain in control of their mentality and are afraid they might do something harmful or stupid.

Don't worry about it, a normal (3.5 grams) dose for hallucinations isn't going to cause you to flip your shit. You'll be pretty fucked up and it will be noticeable by everyone around you but you need to be comfortable with that. Use it as an excuse to act a little more eccentric than you normally do. Embrace the trip and go with the flow.

DO NOT try to remain 'clear headed and in control' That's not the point of the trip. If you wanted to be that way then you wouldn't have tried to trip in the first place.

Enhanced introspection can really help people with a variety of problems.
This is true. Luckily my introspection was sharpened significantly by studying Buddhism and Zen, so I don't really need a catalyst like a psychedelic.

However, I'm still fascinated by the experiences whether they be my own or someone else's. I've become somewhat of a psychonaut, although I haven't really 'tripped' in ages unless you count high second 2nd to low 3rd plat DXM.
>studying Buddhism with their intense anti-drug beliefs
Truly, if I was to live on a monastery as a monk, I'd probably never see a recreational drug again.  The whole premise behind the religion and philosophy is to ultimately rid yourself of distractions, abandon attachments to this world, and be at peace.

I don't deny that altering perception, especially with psychedelics, is a distracting experience. LSD isn't going to help you calm your mind. But I'm not trying to live as a monk. I respect and admire their beliefs and resolve, but that doesn't mean I have to abide by them. There's nothing in Buddhism that I've found so far that damns me for using any drug recreationally. All it has told me is that there are consequences for doing so and I will have to deal with them, whether they be helpful, harmful, or neutral.

What fascinates me about psychedelics is that they tend to have sort of an opposite effect on perception as meditation, however both meet at the same end, that being ego loss.

Mushrooms are what caused someone I know to realize that they had addiction to opiates and benzos that was destroying them and finally go to rehab.

Personally I had more of an epiphany on LSD, but psilocin was still a rather enjoyable experience until I did too much the last time.

Well if they call it bullshit we can set up fedora trade routes
What would they use to refute themselves since there is no religion on the planet that even mentions the possibility of extraterrestrial life?

If I'm not mistaken the Vedic religions leave the possibility open.
Not exactly sure about Hinduism but, from what I understand, Buddhism would be rather accepting when it comes to extraterrestrials.

why is the screen shaking?
are they trying to stabilize it?
Youtube has some option to auto correct the shakiness of peoples recording. If you use it on a normal video it makes things all wobbly and I think peeps use to to avoid copyright issues. idk.

I'm not so sure I'm interesting or appealing enough to warrant a stalker. . .
Let me judge; PM me all the deets I'll need to do it properly and I'll let you know after a month or so.
unfortunately, I don't get around much right now.
And that affects my job how? If anything it makes it easier. If I sit outside your window will you feed me? Then I wouldn't even have to take breaks.
It affects your job immensely in regards to how exciting it is.
