The Flood / Re: Goodnight, Flood.
« on: May 04, 2015, 09:29:28 PM »
Goodnight, please feel free to not wake up.
Why is it you don't wish death upon me? Why am I not special?
It doesn't have to be death, just a really, really, really long coma...
Avoiding the question? How disappointing.
Go trip on DMT and think you're being abducted by aliens so you jump off of the spaceship to escape but really you're just jumping out of your window and running into traffic.
You gonna supply me with some bitcoin so I can order some off the darknet?

Serious / Re: I feel I am becoming a Buddhist. I like it! : D
« on: May 04, 2015, 08:32:59 PM »
Meditation may be psychologically beneficial, but don't buy into the metaphysical bullshit.
Meditation feels great, but often I am willing to bet, I try too hard with it and it doesn't function authentically?
It's all about not trying really. Relieving yourself of effort and becoming effortless. The issue many people have (including myself) is the mind's tendency to want to continue working in some way. Thinking about the process when the real objective is to abolish thinking and try to attune awareness to the 'here and now'

If you're interested in eastern philosophy then check out Mooji.

While he isn't exactly Buddhist, his teachings aren't dissimilar by any means. Some people like to hype him as some great guru and master, as if he has all the answers, but I still find what he says to be very fascinating and it ties in very well with my own zen/non-dualist like philosophy.

The Flood / Re: Rum vs Beer
« on: May 04, 2015, 01:21:26 PM »
Even though people like to make out beer as manly, the irony of it all is that it contains plant estrogen from the hops and lowers testosterone levels.

The Flood / Re: What have you learned today?
« on: May 04, 2015, 01:18:13 PM »
I've learned that I've been taking a bad approach to cure myself of some chronic health problems and that I've been particularly naive and impatient about the issue.

Being morally right
Is objectively impossible.
I have to say I disagree with this. Moral facts do exist.
In a relative sense yeah, but it's not like the universe has some absolute law of morality that applies to the whole of existence.Things basically just do as they are conditioned to do, ultimately.

Anyways that's another topic for another time.

Before one demeans other values they should at the very least try to realize that their own, despite any subjective difference in their nature or potential consequence, are no more absolute than any other.

At least, they should if they have any respect for wisdom.

As for staying on topic, I think it's perfectly fine if you all debate the ethics of killing for expression more so than discussing this news topic specifically. You just don't have to get so heated and resort to 'you're an idiot.' I mean tf would you take the time to gather information for and make a post detailing why you don't agree, or why someone is wrong about something only to fuck your chances of actually persuading them by throwing insults in the end? Why would they listen to someone who just made an attempt to shit on them? And if you don't even care if they listen to your side then tf are you even arguing for. You just trying to one up them? You gotta feed the ego that badly?

Eh w/e just keep it calm since It's been made perfectly crystal clear, on more occasions than I can count, that serious is supposed to be free of the pettiness.

I like citrus toothpaste.
It has a tendency to give people canker sores if they're sensitive to it, I hear.

About to practice more thug pro. Trying to be one of the best players ever on an old niche game that hardly anyone gives a fuck about, you know how it goes.

Well, I have a (faux) fursuit.

It feels nice actually.
Damn you're the first furry I've met that actually has a suit. And I've known some particularly passionate furries.

Anything is legitimate here as long as the staff say so.
As a staff member, I don't like that policy.
I think it's a good thing, or would be if it was used when actually needed.
It's probably necessary, I'm just not fond of the implications.

So, I guess we're gonig to see him back in a couple of months, I mean, a perma here hasn't meant much to the people who've received it outside of what, two cases so far out of five or six?
Cheat seemed petty adamant about it this time round. Who knows, he's given in before.
Well we've had someone return from a legitimate perma before for saying "fuck you all I'll never change".
They've got him wrapped around their fingers.

It doesn't matter who else is posting them, we want you to do it.

Now I'm thinking you should get something with a floral pattern, thoughts?
My hope for other pics has nothing to do with cross-dressing but you can keep on spinning this conversation round that topic till we're all dizzy. Makes me wonder what y'all nigs see in me, but it's w/e.

I'd like to point out that his point about mods being able to get away with anything was proven wrong the moment I gave Chronic his warning.
If I was a regular member you would've just banned me.

This confuses me a great deal.
The reason for it was this image.

Buy one.
It appears as though you should.

Don't think we've forgotten about you.
Well I merely hoped that someone else might be willing to post a flick of themselves. However I suppose I should've expected nothing but posts about cross-dressing.

tbh I didn't expect him to start spazing out. So soon, at least.

I figured he keep trying to antagonize me, but I guess when I wasn't really biting anymore he had to find new prey?

w/e I won't act like I know how the dude's mind works.
I really do think you broke his rage.

And the reason why I made the thread, is because I saw kind of an argument between you two, then he got blacklisted before I finished, I just wanted to see if any Moderation shenanigans was going down, like I don't dislike you, you're alright, just checking if our doom had come xD
Eh I mean I wasn't actively trying to make him look bad or flipshit. Just wanted people to understand the reasoning behind that thread deletion. We should be more open about why moderation works the way it does. He started to be more insulting the longer things went on and at that point I told him I wasn't gonna discuss it anymore ergo report and thread spam.

Strange dude. Amusing though.

Yes you have the right to be upset that your thread got deleted without reason I would be upset too, but come on I think we get it by now. You see it as unjust, but the mods won't change it they have vocalized it. I'm sorry you were wronged, but it's time to move forward.
There were legitimate reasons for that thread deletion, which is what I spent all that time replying to him to explain, so that anyone else could read it and understand why.

I think it's hilarious that you replied so fast. Like you're itching to get a one up on me.

Fuck, Insomnia is gripping me right now but at least there's some amount of entertainment on here.
