That ignores the possibility that there are other phenomena beyond our sensation, perception, and conception.
Perhaps existence is infinitely vast and we just can't interact with or even conceive what is beyond our own universe. Who's to say? I guess God could, however I'm not advocating its existence.

but again, it's not the substance itself that's causing the addiction, it's the user's personality traits and psychological makeup.
Well yeah, I just mean to convey that peeps shouldn't exactly be labeled as just irresponsible for their addictions. Hell it starts very early with some. Getting prescribed meds early in life, or even just being given caffeine far too often.

The only thing that sucks is how expensive of a habit weed is. I buy eighths at a time unless I get my tax return, then I usually buy a whole ounce but anyhow an eighth probably only lasts me 4 days or so and cost $50.
You have to pay more for dabs, usually, but they last much longer than bub. You could give them a shot.

Drink, you can have a beer or wine fairly regularly without addiction. The same cannot be said for marijuana
Lol, what? I've gone months, even one time, a year without smoking. I'm so casual, usually two hits of even the most minor stuff makes me either very energetic or super relaxed/tired. If it was legalized everywhere though, I would have a more equalized balanced of it in my diet, but it has not and never will rule me.
Well then lucky you.
It has nothing to do with luck. Weed isn't addictive.

Educate yourself
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/almost-addicted/201311/is-marijuana-addictive
Cannabis is addictive in the same way that you can become addicted to chocolate or any substance that you consume. It depends on the user and whether or not they allow it to consume their lifestyle, like any other irresponsible person would react to becoming addicted to video games, surfing the internet all day, etc.
Also, posting a very obviously biased .gov source about a currently illegal substance does not prove anything, so please, stop spewing bullshit and educate yourself.
It's not necessarily about being irresponsible entirely. Yes that's a significant factor but predisposition to addiction can manifest into full blown addiction without the person even realizing they're becoming dependent on a substance or that it's possible to even become dependent on said substance.

Sex is apparently the most important part of any relationship.
Hey, you're Buddhist right?
Essentially.

That's the most unAmerican thing I've heard in a long time.

Well nothing that comes into being exists inherently. Everything is caused by something else. I suppose the future could be predicted with enough information, but I like to think that sentience adds some degree of 'randomness' to the equation.
Some people argue that our entire consciousness and ego is nothing more than chemical/physical process and has no more substance than that, which would mean that even the nature of sentience could theoretically be predicted.
Still, if existence just so happens to be infinite, then what could ever conceive or process enough information to predict the future of something of that scale?

Drama almost certainly always increases activity.
However, it doesn't necessarily increase the active user count. In fact, it has a tendency to lower it from what I've seen.
