I love when my favorite artists experiment. I enjoy varying degrees of consistency and freshness ergo listing to songs with orthodox song structures and time signatures can end up boring me if I stick to them solely. I also like to see how creative people can get. However, I do enjoy a good melody and rhythm, and if shit just doesn't flow right for me then It won't grab me so I suppose I do have some standards when it comes to experimenting with music.
Peeps can make w/e tf kinda music they want though. I'm just not guaranteed to listen.
