My friend's cousin from Kosovo came here pretty early on and while his English was pretty broken and his accent thick, he was one of the smartest and hardworking kids I've ever met in my entire life. 17 years old working two jobs and getting exceptional grades in college. He set a much better example as a person to strive to be than the vast majority of Americans I've known in my life.

He did probably "study" it. Now tell me, which is more important: Studying a language, or learning a language? See, you want to study a language in order to learn it, but if you've learnt it there's no need for studying it. Now what if I told you, Deci, that studying a language isn't the only way to learn it? Hell, it's not even the best way to learn a language. The best way to learn a language is to know some basics, and then immerse yourself into the society of the language's origin, or just with other people who constantly speak it.
You could study the language for 4 months and reach a certain point, or you could be around people who talk the language and go just as far in 1 month. To fully learn and be able to use a language I think that you need to know what a native speaker sounds like, and how they react to you. I think that the final step is to communicate with these people.
But then you would be trampling over others busy and entitled lifestyles and they don't have the time or the patience to deal with you.

Something funny to me (as well as terrible) is that the effects of sugar in food these days is akin to heroin and the addiction potential is actually higher. However, as terribly unhealthy as it is for the body and the mind, it isn't generally seen as anything wrong and is pushed onto people almost like a necessity.

You can substitute salmon, but if you have to have tuna then opt for the light tuna since it has less mercury. Canned white tuna is recommend to be eaten no more than three times a month tbh, canned light is once a week.

Eh motivation is hard to come by when you're so fatigued all the time. I found a little today but my focus atm is on practicing anatomy and character drawing (specifically faces right now) so I probably won't be doing any fully finished sketches for a while.
that's really unfortunate to hear. I'm sorry you're tired all the time, but it is something special that you're still trying!
