Gender barriers are a matter of conditioning. It wouldn't be uncomfortable for the people in a society with no gender barriers because they would have been conditioned to live in a world without them. I would also imagine that such a society would probably have abolished the perceived dangers of having no gender barriers like rape or stalking etc. as they would probably have never done away with gender barriers otherwise.

I laugh when people eat a salad to be healthy but douse it in fatty processed dressing full of preservatives and high fructose corn syrup.
An ounce of dressing on a salad is still better than chips or french fries, though.

People are retarded, but personally, I'd still grant them the ability to realize that you're not going to get your dick sucked in the real world just because you fixed your neighbor's pipes. Most people aren't that stupid.
I'm more worried about it becoming an addiction more than anything. People can easily fall into a cycle where porn fills their sexual desires, rather than going to meet people and fullfilling their true sexuality.
