why suddenly returning out of the blue
I saw Sandtrap's thread and wanted to personally pay my respects to him by reminding people that he wanted them to live good lives, so they should use this moment to improve to honor him.
Oh. It sucks that it took someone's death to get you to return. . .

I don't like to elaborate much on my health issues. Although I'm not all that well off, Sandtrap's situation just makes me feel like I have a lot to be grateful for. There isn't a chance in hell I'm going to give up on overcoming this mess after seeing him power though something as terrible as what he went though for so long.

He always seemed to genuinely care for people on here. I know he messaged me more than once about my health issues and depression but I never opened up all that much about it. I really regret that because what small amount of conversation we had was some of the most significant and meaningful conversation I've ever had with anyone on the web.
Now I'm very sad I wasn't able to speak to him one last time. . damn.
R.I.P. Sandtrap, you had a weak constitution but you were still one of the strongest people I've ever met.

Unfinished doodle of a Black Templar I made on the back of a note card about a month ago. Drawing again reminded me of my weaknesses. I apply too much force on my pencil, making erasing much more difficult to erase, due to the graphite smearing. Furthermore, I am definitely a perfectionist, and will start with something like a helmet and spend an enormous amount of time getting it looking as perfect as possible, before doing anything else.
That, and I only ever draw things wearing helmets. I don't think I've ever drawn anything without a helmet.
Looks good man. I don't draw much because I'm a bit of a perfectionist too. Most of my doodles start with random shapes and then I try to make something of them. Helps if I view it as a game instead of a serious drawing.
Scribbles and random shapes are great for warming up. I like to do graff handstyles for warming up, personally. Practicing drawing lightly and fluidly can also improve your skill by a great deal. Most novice artists apply too much pressure (as Napalm stated) and tend to draw with their wrists. Lightening the pressure and using the motion of your entire arm makes it much easier to draw fluidly.

Prolonged MDMA use really fucks your serotonin levels. Try to appreciate sobriety some time.

Do all the active shit you want to afterwords. If you're still eating loads of sugar and processed foods then you're going to be unhealthy regardless.
Also, this doesn't seem like it's going to curb the appetite people have for unhealthy foods. That shit is literally an addiction.

We certainly have weaker immune systems these days. So many contributing factors exist now. Things are overly sanitized, our exercise habits and circadian rhythms are fucked from modern technology, the average diet is full of terrible processed/refined foods and waaaay to much sugar and carbs, modern medicine passes antibiotics around like candy destroying all the beneficial bacteria that are a huge part of our immune function, and lets not forget all the stress. .
The modern lifestyle will leave your body sick and broken.

As far as gameplay goes, Destiny was really good. It's just such a shallow game. I'm not getting the impression 2 is gonna be any deeper.

I haven't had too many semantics arguments on the net, personally. I try to recognize and avoid them when at all possible.
I do notice them a fair bit but not every argument I observe seems to boil down to them.

Yes it's cliche of me to suggest this, but meditation is excellent for maintaining a healthy mental state.

When you say work nights, do you mean overnights or just closing somewhat late?
Fucking mornings/day shifts, I haven't seen the sunrise in four months. Everyone has their own natural sleep cycle and I've had enough forced 5/6am shit from school and working L&F at Disney. I'll never understand why people choose to down sleep meds Sunday through Thursday just to wake up and get stuck in traffic at 6am-7am and then get off work and get stuck in traffic at 3pm-5pm and having to do their groceries and enjoy their free time with everyone else on Saturday and Sunday; It's so bizarre and incomprehensible.
I always feel better, both physically and mentally, when I'm waking up early in the morning. Although, it is a rare occurrence for me.

A bit of value practice. Gotta get more experience with painting digitally. Still have no real idea how to approach hair. =/
