I always put my PC into sleep mode when going to bed, but my PSU has had coil whine since the day I got it. I was able to get a free replacement and it also had coil whine. It isn't terrible and I can't hear it with my headphones on so I just deal with it.

1080p good enough for me.

My frames better stay at or above 60, however.

I like seeing you doing some traditional art Boss.

Sketched this to scan into Photoshop for digital practice but I liked it enough to ink it.

The Flood / Re: Alright white people stop doing yoga
« on: April 25, 2017, 09:39:54 PM »
I think someone that is upset over anyone practicing or even attempting to practice yoga doesn't really understand yoga themselves.

In yogic traditions they emphasize the expansion of identity to encompass the world and the cosmos. Adhering to a specific race or culture, having limited identity, is unbecoming of someone who claims to truly practice yoga.

I think I was maybe 15 when I really got into youtube back in 07, so I wasn't all that young. Used to watch a lot of graff vids and speed paints. Halo montages, and THPS vids as well. Also, random weird series like salad fingers or charlie the unicorn, and of course music music music.

I need some forum to fill the empty void of boredom/loneliness that exists within me. For many years it was WHU but then that board died and Sep7 came around. I wish I could find somewhere with more activity that was as close-knit as this place.

Serious / Re: Brawl at Berkeley
« on: April 19, 2017, 08:09:30 PM »
So, context? Pro-Trump and antifa people protesting each other and looking for a fight?
From what I saw, Some people held a pro trump/pro free speech rally. Antifa kids came and started antagonizing them, breaking through dividers etc. eventually they started throwing fireworks and smoke bombs, vandalizing things.

At one point one of them threw a smoke bomb and the wind blew it back into their group causing them to start breaking up. At that point the pro Trump/pro free speech people began charging towards Antifa and when they caught up to them a brawl started between the two groups. More fireworks and smoke bombs were thrown, some Trumpers looked like they were jumped and attacked by groups of 4-5 people (possibly some antifa as well, I know some chick got clocked on the forehead by a Trumper), eventually Antifa backed off and the pro Trump/free speechers marched down the streets chanting victory.

The police did not intervene until the tail end of it all, where they arrest maybe two dozen or so people.
Seems accurate, but it's looks like both were just looking for a fight. Not defending the antifa idiots, but this seems like more than just the baddies attacking the innocent protesters. Shitheads everywhere.
Initially they were there for the rally.
Yeah, I kinda doubt that was the case for a large part of them.
Well it's your prerogative if you want to have preconceived notions about the people there, but understand that they're a hindrance on your ability to accurately analyze the situation.
It's not so much a preconceived notion as it are websites and tweets by Trump supporters, "patriots" and right wing groups present at the event discussing how to legally conceal weapons as flagpoles while literally "calling to arms" to "fight the fascists" in the "battle of Berkeley" several weeks in advance. Sorry, but you don't go around telling your group to have their weapons ready, posting pictures of violence against "the left side" as a warning, and carrying baseball bats, knives, body armor, bandanas and motorcycle helmets when you're just going to the park to enjoy a nice rally for human rights.

Fuck the antifa, but pretending that these were all poor and innocent bystanders who were there only for a speech about human rights and got attacked by the bad guy aggressors is just a joke. I'm sure it was different for a few, but many of these people never showed up to listen to someone speak about free speech. This was a long awaited brawl and it very much seems like a lot of people on both sides came there specifically to look for a fight.

Biased as shit website, but it's a good compilation of alt-right tweets dating back to the beginning of last month and already talking about fighting in the battle for Berkeley.
I suppose there were a lot of people looking for a fight, I certainly don't consider the entire group of pro free speech/trump people to be "poor innocent bystanders," although I don't consider them all to be aggressors looking for a fight either. I imagine the rally was attended by a variety of people with different intentions, some peaceful, some not. Regardless of Challengers thoughts on the matter, what is naive is assuming the intentions of an entire group of people that you have never had any interaction with and know very little about. It's the same with the Antifa kids, I don't imagine that every single one of them went looking to get into a fight or vandalize public property.  I'm willing to bet that a good portion of people there on both sides were only meaning to go and express their views/ideology.

I didn't hear anything about tweets like that , though it doesn't surprise me, I just look into what happened at the rally specifically. Your view of the Trumpers is understandable, though, after learning that.

I wish I had learned to play piano and string instruments. I have rhythm and a good ear for tone but I never attempted to really learn any instrument and I regret it very much. Often I come up with different melodies in my head that I really wish I could flesh out in some tangible form.
