The Flood / Re: How have you changed since Sep7 began?
« on: May 15, 2021, 09:04:07 AM »
tbh my life has basically been in stasis for 8 years now. I don't even really look different except for having a different hair style.

If there's one consolation it's that people who meet me usually believe I'm a lot younger than I actually am.

tbh around here shit has been pretty tame. Most of the turmoil and craziness seems to be concentrated to cities and big urban areas.

tbh I have no interest in getting any of the new consoles. Especially since I should be able to play just about anything I'd be looking forward to on PC going forward.

I've found 5 (Sep7 included)

But I'm aware of at least another one that is older than the rest and existed before the destiny emmigrations, and another one that I think is truly dead, during the rocky period of new offsites being built up.

So we got:
Sep7
Bungleboards
Newflood
Sapphire
Several discord of random bungie offtopicer's making their own places (that I count as a single one)

The old place (LudicrousIdea or something, idk)

The dead place (Flood v2 or something, again idk)
You forgot the gay furry haven WHU

So what happens if Cheat just dies one day and money stops funding this place's upkeep and it just goes offline out of the blue?
Then we all cease to exist.

Out of STEM?

It was always science, specifically astronomy. Least favorite was math. Which is ironic since science is so dependent on math.
I'm not terrible at math if I actually try, but I just found it very boring for the most part and had little motivation in doing it.

Just upload your mind into the virtual reality. You can have any body and feel whatever you want.
I don't trust the concept of uploading a consciousness.
Bruh, you are already in the simulation.

I've heard that a lot of people honestly don't really care about losing anything. They've only invested maybe a few hundred bucks and are willing to lose it just to continue the squeeze.

My mom got the vaccine Friday as she works as a surgical tech doing caesarean sections.  She's supposed to check in with the CDC (I think?) regularly and report any symptoms. The lymph nodes in her neck are swollen but nothing else has happened.

I get spam calls constantly all day from all over the country and the only emotion I experience from them is perfectly encapsulated in the phrase, "UGH."

The Flood / Re: Creepy things that have happened to you?
« on: December 14, 2020, 03:41:08 PM »
I've mentioned this here before on here but, a friend and I were sitting in his backyard late one night talking when we suddenly noticed some strange wispy apparition across the yard. It looked like some kind of small and lanky cloud of fog or mist lightly swirling as it moved and was it seemed to be faintly glowing. It almost seemed to move with intent and didn't disperse as you would expect something like smoke to do. It slowly moved across the edge of his yard until we couldn't see it anymore. A little while later we left his house to go somewhere and while driving to the end of the cul de sac to turn around we saw it again floating through his neighbor's yard. We have no idea what is was we saw. I've never concluded that it was a ghost or anything, I just know it wasn't anything normal.

I've also had multiple inexplainable UFO sightings but those are more exciting to me than creepy.

Didn't they have a cheese pizza scandal recently? I thought I heard something about it.

Wanted to mention you, but you've shown no questions nor grievances. It's nice to see you again, even if I can't remember fuck all. Glad you're still doing art. And I saw at one point that you listened to Ozric. Here I thought I was the only one.
I don't really let things on the net get to me that much. I have more pressing irl problems to worry about. Though, it is a little sad that I haven't really become very close with anyone from here or any other forum I've frequented due to avoiding getting very emotionally invested.

I've listened to Ozric Tentacles for years. My dad used to play them when I was a kid back in his jam band days.

It's funny. Many of the E posts I've read I've thought to myself, "This sounds like Sandtrap."
You could notice it earlier when E said that he uses Garry Mod for art.
No, I mean I've been thinking this for months.
