I have got to say, watching the pro team play is seriously entertaining. Some of the skill jumps they pulled and map dom spots blew my mind. I want to see a full on competitive match between two experienced teams at this game.
That's how Halo 4 got me.
That's how Halo 4's MP didn't get me actually. I defended the gunplay/movement settings from day one [and still do, minus flinch] but the actual map flow and ability usage didn't seem very tight/responsive at all. 5's seems to be radically different. Maybe a little too radically different at that

Sprint needs to be nerfed even more. I'm still able to run away from battles. Though not as efficiently or easily in the past.

Halo 5 is the first fps (excluding open-worlders) that i've seen that genuinely looks "next-gen", or at least interesting.
It does look very fun on its own merit, I'll give it that. I'm eager to see how the abilities will shake up the campaign in particular. Fighting Zealots with the new thrusters? Ground pounding a group of Crawlers? Wanna see it in action.

BTW, is anyone else irritated anytime they see the stupid hexagons covering the glass/visors on armor in Halo now? Seriously, they've just thrown that shit everywhere and it irritates the hell out of me.
Don't really mind that, what irritates me is the constant beeping and the lens flares. Right now the overall aesthetic just seems loud, noisy [visually and audibly], and irritating, which is a damn shame because there is some great environmental design and sound design behind it all. But instead of getting a good look at the things underneath, we get something next JJ Abrams stuff.
Yeah, but like you said it just seems like extra noise/unnecessary detail for the hell of it. It's really pointless and makes something needlessly complex for the sake of trying to add detail, probably because they don't understand how to add real detail.

Guys I beat Dark Souls yesterday blind and blindfolded, it was really easy all you have to do is use your Praxis to upgrade your Combat Drone and with the Crota Sword Armstrong becomes a cinch. I then blew up Megaton and finished the movie, best book I ever listened to
