Holy sh1t I don't even possess the will to respond, how did you even come up with that

Like seriously you could be the next H.R. Giger here if you just funneled this creativity into visual art. And, well, if you started making everything penises, but that's a different story.

PS: Have I ever mentioned that I generally stay out of Serious threads in non philosophy forums? It's just you and Madman Mordo that keep drawing me back with your hilarious and weird comments omg

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the shotguns in Battlefield. You can use them as a sniper rifle.

MW2 pre parch dual Akimbos

Since when were shotguns in Halo OP?! :$

CE's was the most powerful and yet it was balanced out by the other equally effective weapons in the sandbox.

Halo 2's couldn't do sh1t next to the energy sword.

Halo 3's couldn't do sh1t next to a can of paint.

Reach's was cool, but not really overpowered aside from Infection but I think the balancing issues came more from the map design than the weapon itself.

And 4's was the same-ish only POD usually gave you better options for the usually gargantuan maps the game shipped with.

Now Gears of War on the other hand...[/url]

therefore e < 3 and initial statement proves true

3 > 2.718

2.718 rounded to the nearest 10th = 3

3 = 3

above statement proves false

Dat rounding + trichotomy

I submit to your superior deliberation

Okay, serious matter now: opinions on math? As it's an almost completely deductive subject a lot of people are turned off by it, but I'm curious to see how someone with your adeptness for philosophizing reacts to it.
I'm slightly contemptuous of it, to be frank. I'm much more interested in empirics, and I think maths is the sort of reasoning which can lead people to embrace rationalism or, perhaps, dualism instead of empiricism and monism. I do recognise its importance in understanding, well, anything really.

I KNEW IT

Human life has no intrinsic value.

Well, the jump from "do you put" to "intrinsic" is quite a big one...

I think the size of the community is really irrelevant.
Besides, I can just reveal the post if it's so crucial.

Not me?! Or is your precious Inmendham's new concept of physics winning him so many Nobel prizes that the sheer amount of trophies isn't allowing you to see my name on these forums?

Gaming / Re: Let's Talk About Destiny's Story
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:49:37 PM »
Well apparently the story isn't over yet. Looks like they're going to be releasing more free story missions in addition to the two expansions.

"Barnes said that at least some of the new story content will take you through different parts of areas included in the main game, so you'll still run into players who don't have the expansion. "We always want to create spaces where people can get together and cooperate, and we feel like that is a big innovation in Destiny," he said."

Marvelous

Well goji we've got 3 planets in the grimoire that weren't included in the main game along with several cutscenes on of which involved mercury that were shown in trailers.

Plus we've got something called queens wrath coming.

Saturn and Europa had better be two of the playable zones! Dat Europa concept art kicked a$$
