Indeed. Bungie in general is spectacular at emotional/atmospheric storytelling like that. Even without a proper plot and repetitive bosses the fight in the Black Garden was awesome, in no small part due to the music.

Yep, and we all know how hard of a time they had with keeping promises in the past.
Wanna give me some examples? I keep hearing this but I never really get any concrete answers. Buzzwords [buzzsentences? buzzlines? :$] like "taking Halo back to its roots" don't count since they're so vague [and the gunplay/movement did indeed take Halo back to its roots from Reach]. I suppose the Castle map pack fiasco might be a bit of a point of contention but even then that was an obvious screw up on MSFT's part. Anything about story? Nah, they've delivered/are in the process of delivering on everything they've mentioned. Graphics? Not quite... What could it be? Because I remember everyone complaining about the same stuff after Halo 4's launch as they were concerned about prior to the launch. That is, everyone who actually followed the prerelease media. Now this on the other hand... this is how you do a lie!
