I feel like the answer you're looking for is a reference to some math theorem I wouldn't have any idea about.

Nah, it's solvable through simple math. Just gotta organize the solution/solution steps clearly. In the end one particular fact about the amount of liquids in each cup is made clear!

They're both mixes?

:P
Is the title supposed to hint at the answer?

Nah, it was me quoting Lord Hood from H2. 'cause glassing and Covenant and Reach and lasers

Yeah well several of my friends online have tricked themselves into thinking that Halo 3 wasn't a watered down version of a watered down game.
It has a flamethrower. There is no water, stupid.

Actually anyone who's read Frankie's weekly updates knows that Halo 3 is 95% water.

Say we have two glasses. Let's call one of them A, and the other B. A has x mL of water [x∈R| x≥1]. B has x mL of soda. Got it? Now all that I'm going to do is take one mL of water from A and put it in B. Then I stir it until it mixes uniformly. I decide to backpedal a bit, and attempt to remove one mL of liquid from B and put it back in A. Of course, this is silly because the glasses' contents obviously aren't the same as before!

Question: What in particular can you notice in particular about the amount of contents of A and B at the end?

Pi isn't a finite volume. You're maths wrong.

Are you trying to claim that pi isn't constant? Because it certainly is. Just because it's irrational doesn't mean it isn't a finite volume.
Then what's the final decimal of Pi?

Are you seriously trying to make the argument that non terminating numbers are infinite in value?
This thread makes me want to do a series of threads where I *try to help clear up some mathematical misconceptions the non-math plebs have.

Although I'm not sure how many views it'd get.
*pops head out of hate bunker*

I have tons of math questions, but I don't feel safe posting here with all the idiots around...

But I'm glad the plan to de-shit the Serious board from political nonsense is carrying on.

By all means, post away! I'd love to see what Meta's reaction would be to a math oriented Serious XD

... are you sure? Like, I've seen some pretty high standards before but nothing like multi variable integration at 13-14. Hell I've only seen a handful of people doing basic rotational volume at 16-17 in my entire life.

Skyrim is clearly superior to that boring game.

Douche Ecks doesn't even have character creation.
How shallow is that!?

Why would you want to be your own character when you can be Adam Jensen?

So far I'm liking it, however I'm not a fan of the spray

Use the magnum then.
You don't understand, every weapons in CE have spray, even the CE Pistol.

wut

If you tap the trigger instead of holding it down it will hit in the center of your reticule every time. The same is true of most CE weapons actually.

lrn2playm8

Nah, the bullets will spread throughout the crosshair. For the pistol it's inconsequential but the AR will not always hit center.

I added "within the weapons intended niche" before your response. If you're within the intended range for the pistol you'll hit pretty much dead center every time. It's only when you try to snipe with he damn thing that you'll start getting noticeable spread.

I also did say most.

Even within the weapon's intended niche, it won't hit dead center every time. Especially not if there's an enemy within range [yes, CE does still have bullet magnetism].

[Completely forgot: PP is exempt to this]

Tbh turkey'd probably be more suitable for it, not only is he better at math than me, I'm also not much of a thread maker, but I'm willing to give a shot.

I'm not huge on making threads, either. When I made this thread I was thinking something similar; if people responded well, I'd post more stuff later. Not sure what to cover next though.

Something involving cardinality

False.

And pace your shots/use weapons in their niches. People act like the CE pistol is the be all end all when people in high level matches often opt to PR their way through.

Do people here seriously still not know about this?

It's generally not too well known throughout the Halo community from what I've seen. Surprising, but it is what it is. Like, most people still haven't put IsoDidact's words to GS alongside GS' quotes in CE.

What's the limit of 1/x (or 1/x^2) as x reaches zero? It's zero. One divided by a really huge number is basically 0.

Yeah well Jupiter sounds like a pretty feminine name to me. And it's a big planet for me as well. Like, it could easily be a female planet in the body of a male planet. And the sun is projecting heat onto it. That's basically solar rape. These planets are all caught in a galactic rape circle, and nobody is willing to do anything about it.

The Milky Way indeed.
