Also, Lemmy's trying to deal with truths here as well [in that he's trying to say Halo 3's story wasn't quite up to snuff in terms of presence (though I assume he means "plot" and not story)] so... Are we going to mention ringworld? Too obvious?
Ringworld's actual plot and premise are quite different to Halo's actually. The Halo construct is obviously taken from Ringworld, but not much of the actual story.

I was referring to the black hole and wormhole but considering that (as far as I know) was the first attempt at representing a tesseract accurately in a motion film it was pretty good.
I couldn't even begin to describe the wormhole's visuals to you if I tried. But the tesseract was that part that seriously made goji.exe crash
It was really disorienting, at first I was like,"the hell is this?".
Combine that with the soundtrack and I was like "I'm so glad I watched in IMAX"

Capone C  I really liked it. Some inconsistencies here and there but nowhere near what the extremely vocal haters would have you think. I still think about it from time to time, it's very similar to Manifold: Time in some ways. YES, when I was thinking of Spoiler The acausality of the entire Tesseract problem all that popped into my head was "DOWNSTREAMERS CONFIRMED"
