Like H5 can have split-screen on Scorpio but not on X1 etc...

Specs kind of do matter - hear me out.
Lets say dev x makes a game. He can pretty much 'build once, release three times' since X1, PS4 and PC aren't all that different (granted PC is a special specimen but c'mon, we all know that 80% devs do a console port to PC).
Okay, now this dev looks at NX and realises that half the shit he could pull of on the other three systems (split-screen, 64 player MP, level size etc) simply cannot be done on NX.
Their options:
1) rebuild the game specifically for NX with features intact but toned done
2) Cut out the unsupported features
3) Ignore the additional workload and not support NX

Yeah, fuck those guys who spend money and tim on buying and watching/ reading EU content to get a more fulfilling experience from the story! Who cares about following up on plotlines and characters that have been set up for half a decade or more? Just buy more REQ(tm) Packs and stop being such a casual amirite?
Well I did say that story is ass and in no way am I excusing the horrendous cliché that 343 delivered after such a very well executed build-up. But don't judge the game just by one part of it - H5 is a complete package with a very good MP component and a Forge mode that is superb. If people can put down 60 $ for an MP only game like Battlefront or over 100 $ for Cut Content Simulator (Destiny), I don't see why H5 doesn't deserve a few bucks.

One gripe of course is no split screen. Im positive that this is due to the shortcomings of the Hardware though. Hopefully scorpio sill sort that out.
