At the end of the day, even if there is something superior - like say, an all vegetable diet, some people will still choose to eat anything they want. So essentially, there is no superior diet. Its all subjective.

Think of it like - a superior product. Like a car or something. A Golf gets you from A to B, but so does a Bugatti or a Mustang. Good luck trying to argue that a Golf is better than a Bugatti tbh.
Why is a Bugatti better than a Golf? They're both just cars.
um
Come on
DUDE MATERIAL POSSESSIONS LMAO
Superior and inferior things do not exist in your world?

It is objectively better. Its endless features and peripherals. Its library of games (total count) is like all console generations combined and then some. It doesn't just play games, you can use this machine for all sort of things, free online services too. You can connect your PC to a tv or a monitor, you can use any controller you want. you have the ability to properly stream games, you can type messages faster to people you are playing with using the keyboard, the mouse is objectively better than a thumbstick. Okay, but I don't understand why any of this makes it objectively better.
How are mods bad? Not getting into it; my thoughts have been on record for years and I can't be assed to explain why again.

Are mods bad even when developers support them and pay mod makers to make more mods? What about things like DOTA ( a mod of WOW) or CS (a mod of Half-life) ?

Fuck man, there are so many indie titles with Zelda-like gameplay or art style.
I'm not really sure what else you enjoy besides Dark souls and Zelda. You mentioned Quake - that's a big one and its infinite supply of mods. The new Quake will be a PC exclusive too. Half-life 1 is a PC exclusive too. If I want to play Zelda, I'll play Zelda. On console.
Mods are bad, do not talk to me about mods.
Half-Life 1 is available on PS2, my friend. I own it.
My point here is that PC is objectively better, any other preferences are merely just that - preferences. Consoles are subjectively better, with maybe one clear advantage over PCs' and that is (besides price), split-screen. Console gaming also has a certain authentic feeling to it. Like this is a machine MADE to play games, while a PC is machine that CAN play games.
You make all these concessions, but you still say PC is somehow "objectively" better.
In what way is it objectively better? The fact is, you just like it better. It's your preference.

How are mods bad? Devs actively encourage them. id Software specifically made their engine be modular so replacing / adding parts would be easy for the community. Steam Workshop is a place where creative people can share their game creations. Heck, consoles even added this feature and it was like a selling point (on consoles) for Fallout 4. Back in the day, the young Russian kids could get a Russian mod for games so they could enjoy narrative driven games in their native language because companies didn't localise games for the RU market. FYI, I play on X1, PS Vita, PSOne, X360, PSP and N64 only. My PC runs integrated graphics, so I can only run pre-2004 games on there.

I got a more complete list for you. Sorted by "the average fucking idiot" score. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Reviews_DESC what you need to post is a list of games that i personally would enjoy
it's gonna be a short list
shorter than the list of console-exclusive games i enjoy, in fact

These are the top selling games sorted by reviews
http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Reviews_DESC&filter=topsellers
If this is a small selection of good games, then you can't be reasoned with.
I'm not asking for "top-selling" games. I'm asking for good games.
That's why I sorted them again by user score
I don't care what the average fucking idiot thinks about some game. I care what I think about games.
90% of those games are dogshit.
The 10% that aren't are either not good enough or available on console.

Define not having a life.
You can't without having an incredibly narrow and biased view as to what counts as having a life, but I'll humor it because I can probably check point most of your requirements anyways. It's kind of sad though how you have to resort to telling someone they have no life because they choose to game in a way you don't like.
It's not baseless, it's based off of observations. You're one of the no-lifers I was talking about. I'm not trying to insult anyone, I'm just calling it how I see it.
Basically having a life means not having to buy 13 bags of catfood just to chicken out from asking the girl out who's sellin em.
Why are you being a dick, dude?
This is why nobody shares anything on this site, people just try to use it against you in some petty argument. Grow up.
what, am i supposed to ignore the observations i'm making when ive based my argument on them?
again im not trying to be a dick, thats just how ive seen it
go condescend to someone else
Kiss the fattest part of my ass, you aren't making any argument when you're telling someone to "get a life". That's the most brain dead thing you could say.
That's tame in comparison to: Dota 2 / Leage of legends
WOW Counter Strike (all of them) Quake Single player? Amnesia, Undertale, even the remaster of Turok 2 is a PC exclusive now.
There are no worthwhile PC exclusives. None of those games you listed are good.

All the trolling aside, I'm glad the people here do not try to argue that consoles are superior. Believe it or not - some people still think that. Its like they are still stuck in the NES vs IBM PC days of gaming.

The physical store and human interaction will always trump online bullshit.
Steam would like to have a word with you.
Irrelevant because PC gaming is stupid.
That's the best you can come up with?
That's all I need to come up with.
Do you think online fees are not stupid? Do you think having backwards compatibility by default is stupid? Do you think having the largest selection of games is stupid? Do you think having cheaper games is stupid? I was going to go on, but this "dur peesea is stoopeh" statement just leads me to believe you're not there yet...
>playing online
i don't throw away my old consoles
no games that matter
games industry cant afford for games to be cheaper
 Look up the rest yourself.

He said games can't be cheaper. I must be a fucking wizard to cut 10 off on Steam for all of them.
I've seen cheaper used games. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for anything you listed there.
I'm being as fair as possible. The point here was, buying new digital copies directly from the source. Both consoles are more expensive than Steam. If you are talking about used games - that's a free for all market. Ebay / amazon/ craigslist / garage sales / cdkeys.com / g2a / gog.com etc... No one wins there as it all depends on the seller. Same game can cost 10 or 20 or even 5 sometimes.
Making them cheaper on console, making your point moot. I don't care about buying directly from the source, especially for some scummy developer like Rockstar. I'm more than happy to pay full-price for developers who have earned it.
I mean... How many years do you have to wait for a console game to match the Steam price? How many years does it have to be used to be as cheap as it is on Steam?

Quake is the only somewhat worthwhile PC-exclusive game you listed, by the way.
Fallout 1 and 2? StarCraft?

I'd rather have a large selection of GOOD games.
Exactly. You have all of that on PC and more. Its the ultimate entertainment machine. Do your work, watch your music, play your games, make your games.
